Yeah Verizon has done that to me before as well. If you call they will waive it since you paid full price.

After a few minutes of relaunching the Apple Store App, finally got in and pre-ordered in full.

First time pre-ordering an iPhone online. I usually wait in line on launch day every year. Been disappointed for the last 2 years because of the models that I want selling out. Last year, I drove to my nearest Apple store (23 miles) 5-7 times in a course of 2 weeks. Then drove to neighboring Apple stores as far as Hollywood (The Grove. 75 miles on way!!) to always come up empty handed. Ended up finally getting the 128 GB AT&T Gold 6+ by luck. Almost a month after the launch of the iPhone.
This time around I told myself that I would pre-order to save myself the headache. A little rocky at first, but went smooth after a few minutes. Used Apple Pay and got my order in. I might pre-order more often if it's going to be this easy.
I want to get the wife the Rose Gold 6s+, but i'm not sure she will want it right now. Since I just paid retail on my order. Till then, she can have my Gold 6+ 😉

Or they have some explaining to do as only subsidized upgrades are supposed to be charged the upgrade fee

Because people were saying that live pics and 4000k videos were going to take up more space. So, when I see a lot of people getting 128gb, it made me second guess my decision that's all. I am sure 64gb will be plenty.

I'm in the same boat... but have to get some sleep. Hopefully it will be there in the morning.
I've been out of the iphone game since the 3GS. Are returns with AT&T relatively painless? Didn't have a choice because of the unlimited plan. I wanted a plus but panicked when I saw the delivery dates in late october. I ordered the regular instead but now I'm regretting it. I really need a new phone asap, I'm using a $100 BLU garbage phone from amazon at the moment.

Unless you intend to take them to court, they are probably not going to explain a thing.
3:15 the phone was ordered (with "Deliver by 9/25" still promised on site)

Can you cancel the order in your order status? If you wait for it to arrive, they may charge you a restocking fee.

Wow my email was almost instant. I could guess that they had a really high number of orders at the same time yours was placed and that could have stalled the emails so they could accurately determine your ship date. I would definitely talk to someone about it though.

I ordered two colours and I'm going to just cancel the one I don't want middle of next week when I figure out what I want. You could just order a 128gb and do the same 😉

Totally, I've got until the 19th to cancel, it's not going anywhere until Sept 20th when they start shipping things. My account won't be charged until they ship. Do it every year and as I say I'm not going to wait that long I'll be deciding Sunday or Monday so well before anything gets processed.

For those discussing confirmation emails i ordered 3 of them (6s+) one around 5:05 the others say 5:08. The 5:05 email arrived at 5:37pm - didnt get any confirmations for the other two. (all AUS time)
