Looks like Rose gold color is popular this year. Reservation for rose gold 6s plus has all been dried up here in sf. Guess I'll just settle with gold lol
Gold is a nice color... I changed to Rose Gold for just because.... I been through silver to gold to gray ...

Same with me. Bought phone at full retail and the $40 language popped up during the ordering process, but it doesn't look like I was actually charged that amount. We'll see if Verizon tries to stick it on my bill.

I have Verizon too, and I'm paying full price. So far it looks like just phone
and $50 tax charge.

So for those of you who did the in store reservation, should we expect an email? I reserved mine for 8:30 and hope Apple truly does have enough models for reservations, or do you guys think they will run out?
That's why they say show up at the time or they can't guarantee it.

I asked an ATT rep about the full priced phones and I was told they didn't come unlocked and you still had to request it. Unlock requests could be made after 30 days.
Hmm usually when I pay full price on these things through Apple, I get them unlocked.

Anyone else getting this message when trying to reserve for in store pickup on apple.com? It loads for a minute, then kicks me back to the login screen.

I go this too, change pw via iPad, then ordered through the iPhone app.

Because one is an understandable cause cost (you have to pay firemen, police officers, library officals, etc) and one is a made up bull crap cost that doesn't need to exist, other than to make a corporate guy richer.

I'd pay $15 all day long instead of $100 for govt. stuff. $100 always subject to political BS. Can't pay teachers, but just built built giant new building, new police cars, etc. Govt can't prioritize. Taxes are out of control and not optional.

I think when you purchase a full price iPhone from at&t it comes locked. When you purchase a full price iPhone from Apple for at&t it comes unlocked. I am not 100 percent sure though...

Why not agree to enjoy your device? After all we don't want to PSRI this thread or get warned.

I had shipping address weirdness on my order as well, that's why I did a reservation instead of shipping. Somewhere along the line it said they only shipped to the address on file with the carrier, and that's my home address, even though I have my work address set as shipping under my Apple ID. I wouldn't be home to sign for a shipment so in store it is! Reserved an ATT one I'll setup with the Apple financing, or if they unlock it I will just pay full price. Also reserved a Verizon one just in case as an alternative to get an unlocked one.

Process was nice and easy, and nothing crashed or lagged. If they truly have my phone waiting for me then I'm very impressed with this launch.

Yeah. My iPhone 5S was just used abroad (by me) with a different SIM, and I did the purchase the exact same way.

Now I'm hoping my old 6 Plus leather case works on the 6 S Plus. Probably will.

Figured out why the weirdness with address. Their is a setting for default transaction address on the main Apple Pay page in settings...that was correct. But if you click on each card itself in Apple Pay settings, each card for some reason has an address and it apparently just choses some random address because it never asked me for an address when I added that card to Apple Pay today.

I noticed the same thing, though in my case it had both home and work addresses already in there but neither were selected.

I ordered 64gb 6+ Rose Gold and Space Grey from my Apple app 9/25 ship date. Looks like most went with 128gb. Now I am worried that I should have got 128gb

You don't get it. I'm not whining about paying taxes (that's for another thread). I'm whining about paying taxes on an ONLINE order, hence why the ONLINE part was capitalized. In my experience, the number of online retailers that charge tax is far lower in comparison to those that do.

Not to mention the fact that we are ALL making a LOT of corporate guys richer - whether you like it or not; the margin on electronics is astoundingly high.

I ordered through Verizon Wireless very shortly after 3:15am (eastern)...it said (and still says) on Verizon's site "Deliver by 9/25"...however, my confirmation email says Deliver By 9/30.

Will I still get my phone by 9/25? Why would it say deliver by 9/30 AND 9/25 on different pages?

Anyone have any insight?

I wonder if it's possible to change order to store pickup rather than shipping. I was in such a hurry to get orders placed I didn't even explore the store pick up option. But I think I'd rather pick up than wait on Fed EX all day long.

Got my two orders in on Verizon's site. One 6s + rose gold 64gb and one 6s+ Space gray 128gb. Luckily Verizon's site opened up for me about 11 minutes early. Now here's to hoping there's no weird glitches that's always seem to happen with Verizon.

Ordered my Verizon 6s at full retail, but it still says there is a $40 upgrade fee... They better not charge that to my bill.
