I'm in UK and say here to order as soon as it went live. I've had iphone since it came out until last year. Bought the 6 and an LG G3. Sold the iphone and within a month regretted it. Android is not for me. On this phone too laggy and some apps are slow. IPhones just work well. I'm having a Silver 6+ now. Can't wait to get back on iphone.

so mine is sitting in processing mode. has been since i ordered. am i good?

Yep, it won't move from this state to "Preparing for Shipment" until probably by the end of this week or early next week. Apple charges your card right before this change happens, so you should know at that time.

I sign up for notifications from my bank so I know instantly when they do charge my card.

Exactly my thinking. I won't check before about Friday when it might start moving from China.

I pre-ordered from Verizon, had to make a "qualifying payment" to "Edge up", plus taxes and fees. My debit card has not been charged yet either. I assume the same will apply in this case as well.

I would say most likely Friday is when we see Shanghai to Anchorage, then next Monday. is when we see shipment in states and held until the 23rd or 24th when we see our packages at city Fedex/UPS, then out for delivery early launch day. I would say delivery no earlier then 12:30.

maybe this is a dumb question but I've never bought one straight out from apple and had it sent to my house BUT when I receive it will i still have to go to att to get it active? (I paid in full on apple.com)

When you first turn on the phone you are guided through a series of steps, one of which is activation. But you don't have to go anywhere to activate.

Thank you. I was hoping to avoid the chaos at ATT
Assuming you have active ATT service already... It will basically ask for your account info, if it doesn't pull it from sim, and then will deactivate your old phone and the service will be transferred to your new phone.

What kind of phone does she have now? If it has a nano sim, you can just pop in the sim from her current phone into your 6Plus and she's good to go.

You're getting me nervous. What phone did you order?

I didn't order it from ATT, I ordered two 6S+ 64gb RG and SG from the Apple App. Delivery on 9/25. I wasn't going to be on the ATT delivery merry go round like last year. I couldn't believe it said those dates seconds after it opened up.

she has a samsung note 3.
Alright... Hate to say it but you will need to go to ATT for that one, or have them send you one. Their phone system will be a nightmare that day/weekend, so a store is probably your best bet. Make sure it's one of the corporate stores too.

Here what i found from apple webpage !

When i buy from apple.com,does iPhone come ready to use ?

.Yes, if you have selected an iPhone for use on AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon. When your iPhone arrives, all you have to do is turn it on and follow the onscreen instructions to set it up. If you have selected an iPhone for T-Mobile, it will come with the appropriate nano-SIM, but you will need to contact T-Mobile or visit an Apple Store to activate your iPhone. If you have selected an unlocked GSM phone, you can insert your own nano-SIM card or obtain one from the supported GSM carrier of your choice and activate it in order to use your iPhone.

I better not have any issues with Tmobile one I ordered. I will take that sim that it came with and pop my tmobile sim in.

What you can do instead of having to go to store is call Customer service, tell them you want to activate a new IPhone from your wife's old Note 3, they will ask you for the last 4 of the IMEI of the Note 3 and the last 4 of IMEI of the IPhone 6 Plus that you want her to have, you're done! I had to do this exact thing when I upgraded from Note 3 to 6 Plus in December, worked just fine!

This is my first iPhone ever so I'm extra excited. The 25th needs to hurry up and get here lol

Wow, congrats. You are coming into a very good model. I think this is one of the best "S" models they've made. The looks of the 6S/6S Plus may look the same as the first 6/6+, but thats about it. Everything else is new and different. I believe you will enjoy your iPhone very much.:)

Honestly, I think the 6 looks great, so I'm looking forward to that aspect. And of course everything else. It's going to be an adjustment but I'm very open to it and I'm really excited :)
