I am still with my one more Years 6Plus with AT&T.
I not sure which one to get so i bought one AT&t 6SPlus and one T Mobile 6SPlus full price . . They allowed me to order one phone only with my current phone number,after I done preorder 6S AT&T,i open a new page order T Mobile 6S full price as well.
 
Anyone with a 2-3 week window see processing? I ordered just after it changed, but maybe they're going to catch up on orders,

FYI, after I chatted and called, I was told by both you can't change the shipping address if you're an AT&T customer.

From the chat:

  • I do terribly apologize for the inconvenience, and the best we would be able to at the moment, would be cancel the order, because we have not systems to change the shipping address at the moment for any AT&T customers.
They told me to cancel and reorder on Sept 25. That defeats the entire purpose of pre-ordering. Frustrating to say the least.

It is shipping to my billing address and not the shipping address that is in my account.

Before ordering you should have changed your address on the AT&T website. That's what I did.
 
I got mine ordered last night, it was pretty simple. Set my alarm for 10 til and just laid in bed opening and closing the apple store app. When it finally came up picked the one I wanted (128GB rose gold plus) and did apple pay. Went back to sleep.

Easier than my order process last year that's for sure.

Really disappointed in AT&T decision to try and charge me an upgrade fee. I will ask them to credit it back or it may be time to start looking for another provider.
 
Did I finally get lucky with my pre-order (many nightmarish wait times in the past with AT&T)? My daughter is due and begging for a new iphone. We are on EST and I needed to get up for work early so I gave her my CC and went to bed. Of course she fell asleep as well. I woke at 7 AM and ordered her a rose gold 64 GB 6s through Apple and expected to wait a month for it. To my surprise I have a Sept. 25th ship date. Is demand down this cycle? Is the new rose gold unpopular?

Rose Gold is the popular color and sold out for the 6S+ in all GB versions. Seems the 6S version may have had more in stock or was not as popular since they didn't upgrade the resolution, battery or add OIS. But, my teenage daughter says none of the kids at her school want the Plus size, so you did just fine ;) I ordered the Rose Gold 6S+ 64gb and am giving her my gold 6. Oh, and she thinks the RG is beautiful :D

Is anyone else concerned that the Apple payment plan wasn't available for actual preorder? All you did was make a reservation without any payment details or anything. That makes me a little nervous.

Also, the phones on the apple payment plan are supposed to be unlocked. But it didn't say anything about that when making my reservation. How do they know that's what I want?
 
I was wondering that also. Did you get a confirmation email, I have not yet, getting a little worried.

I got a confirmation email right away, which made me feel better (8am on 9/25, here I come!). I just wish they had made the process more clear for those who wanted the Apple payment plan specifically (Like, you people, click HERE!).
 
I was tempted to get the dock but I keep my phone in a drawer at night and the girlfriend said it was a waste.

I didn't get my confirmation for reserved until 6 hours later but that is my backup in case it doesn't come on the 25th like it says. Then the plan with Apple says bring ID and ssn so they can run a credit check so if you don't have good credit or not sure don't go

Before ordering you should have changed your address on the AT&T website. That's what I did.
I had no idea it defaulted to the AT&T info, I assumed it would pull the Apple account info. Oh well, FedEx or ups will leave a note and we'll go pick it up at their facility the next day.

For some reason it pulls it and cannot be changed. I've had to change the address on their website 3 years in a row. lol
