Sure but would he say that if in 4 months we get a new phone with a different aspect ratio? If anything this leads me to believe if the phone is bigger it will keep the same aspect ratio.

makes the idea of a 4" screen seem silly now

Cook: But he would flip on something so fast, that you would forget that he was the person taking the 180 position a year before.

Kara: He did that on stage many times.

Cook: IT WAS AN ART! He did it many times and I saw it daily. This was a gift

It leads me to believe we'll never truly know what goes on in Apple's labs. They could release a bigger screen at the same ratio, or a different one. You could see a handful of changes or no changes at all.

It's also not only software developers that are affected by changing products, is speaker makers, case designers, and so on. So we can't predict what comes next, we'll just wait to find out.

Tim Cook: "I think you'll be really pleased with where we're taking Siri."

Tim: "If you had an S on your chest and a cape on your back, you couldn't do everything. He brought in good people to the company, and his legacy will be leaving that foundation. His spirit will always be in the DNA of the company. I wouldn't get overly focused on who does what piece. There's a lot of key people, and there has always been a lot of key people."

Glad Tim said this.

More Tim and Jony on the same wavelength. That I like to hear. I think Apple is in good hands with Tim as CEO. :)

Tim Cook: "I just want to build great products. There's not really a revenue goal. If we do that, other things follow. I think that some companies get confused and think that their goal is revenue or stock price or something -- those things you can't focus on and make better. You have to focus on what leads to that -- for us, it's great products. All of our energy is on that, not the result of that."

Love how Tim says he cant believe how many people are using the most current version of iOS 5. Its not like they give you a choice. When iphoto for ipad/iphone was released, you had to have 5.1 to be able to download it. Even 5.0.1 wasn't good enough.

Here's a question on if Cook is as involved in marketing and design as Steve:

Tim Cook: "Steve spent virtually all of his time on those. But no, I'd say I'm spending time in many areas, not just those two."

Hmm...not sure if this is good or not...

No Apple carrier in the near future.

In Sir Jony Ive we trust.

I'm sorry, but these interviewers are terrible. I get that everyone wants to know about the future plans that apple is cooking up behind closed doors, but you don't just barrage your interviewee with point blank attacks hoping he will give in. I'd very much like for him to do these conferences again in the future, but they clearly are trying to dissuade him of that notion.

It's still significant. What percentage of iPhone users actually bought iPhoto?

Ive does Hardware design. I'm more concerned with the design of the software.

Of course, the Corinthian leather was Steve's idea, so maybe it'll get better....

its not just with iphoto but with many other apps. I dont know how many times Ive seen the error stating I can't download an app because I am not running the lastest version of iOS

Too bad it seems Scott, Craig and Phil love their skeuomorphic designs. Boo.
