I am pretty new to this theme thing....

I installed lockinfo matte and am using the nano matte theme...

But I can't figure out how to get a full calendar on the lockscreen...

I only see options for listing calendar events...

Was there a something I missed?

Also....where can I get the slider that is a small lock icon? I have found some tap sliders but they are all still big buttons?
enable the clock then disable the apple clock with clock hide then click on the time to show the calendar

This app rules! Its much less of a memory hog than another *similar* product, but this one is free! I couldnt figure out how to use the stock clock instead of the lockscreen one and still have a monthly calendar. Anyone have any suggestions? Here's what I have so far:

I tried doing this last night by reading this thread and got hopelessly lost.

I could only get it to bring up weather and mail, and on the weather it would not read the zip codes I put in.

I SSH'd the gruppled theme or whatever it is to the theme folder, and then loaded lockinfo via Cydia.

I think I MUST be doing something wrong when messing with the config file.

Sigh.

Sorry for the repost, but this is probably a more appropriate thread for it anyway:

"So I installed LockInfo with the Gruppled theme...

Its great, except I tried getting back the stock "Slide to Unlock".

I deleted the "com.apple.telephonyUI" folder in the theme, and that seems to have worked, but the words "Slide to Unlock" are missing. Is there any way to get that back?

(Also "Slide to Answer", "Slide to Cancel", etc.)"

Can I use LockInfo and/or it's themes without Winterboard?
Can I manually replace the files or is WB required?

Nope.

Once you go to uninstall Winterboard you'll see that all programs designed to run with it are removed right along with it.

I don't understand the question.

I'm using it with Glasklart and it works fine.

I'm an idiot. That's why you don't understand.

Alright, I've FINALLY gotten the weather to show up.....but I can't get anything else to show up. Do you have to enable this stuff in that config file? I can read it and I got the weather working, but I mean geez.....what about the calender and everything else?

Ok...I'm KIND figuring out that I need to delete the "//" in front of sections I want to enable.

I've done this up top enabling the clock.

I can't figure out how to get the calendar on there.

Do I HAVE to put something down as an event to have the calendar to show up?

Also, the mail will not show up unless I have new mail. However, I see on there that some of you have like no mails showing up, just a blank counter.

I'd like to have that. I can't figure out how to get missed calls or sms on there either.

Do I HAVE to have an sms that is missed to have this?

Working fine for me.

If you can't get LockScreen Info + a LockScreen Info theme to work, you're most likely doing something wrong. The relevant links have already been posted here so I won't go into how to get everything set-up correctly...but it all works.

BTW, Intelliscreen might work great, but believe me when I say that it uses a tremendous amount of memory as well as draining your battery faster. If you use LockScreen Info + a relevant theme, you can configure pretty much everything, including how often to poll for things like email, rss feeds and whatnot. The memory footprint is also negligible. Intelliscreen caused me troubles in the past, and since I stopped using it, i've never had any reason to go back.

Why pay for something when there are other free options out there that don't consume memory + battery life + have more customizable features? Not to mention, because LSI + themes are all HTML/JS based, new features can be added in the future extremely easily.

Question, how did you get it to go so far down the screen? It seems mine won't go very far down since it gets cut off by the lock section. I have the little lock icon on mine like you do, however, if I keep expanding things, it gets chopped off really far from the bottom like the slider is still there.

Help?

Is there a chance you can upload for us your Custom.plist file and the relevant plug-ins you installed? Judging from your screenshot, it's pretty much exactly how I want my lockscreen to look.

I'd rather work off a near ideal .plist than start from scratch and have to painstakingly go through a trial & error process.

All this talk about configure.js.... could somebody please give the full location to this file on our phones?

I can only get the Weather, Twitter, Name Days, and Clock to work. The only time when it displays new SMS is when i get one while the phone is locked, then it disappears again. No Mail, Calendar, etc...

This thing is WEIRD.

Help, I install all the lockinfo dependency and of course lockinfo from the OP's source.

It shows up, very nicely I might say, however only the calendar is shown, nothing else. I have try to find the setting file thru ssh but have no luck. Any help? I dunt want any fancy them just the default theme

In the second section, last line, set Hide empty sections to false and see what that does.

install quick dismiss from cydia.. hitting the home button on the lock screen will clear the message (it will actually clear any pop up notifications)

Ok this was bugging me too, I have found a way of getting rid of this pop-up. Install bitesms then go into bitesms settings, privacy then change show preview to off.

one thing that I do not like about Lock Screen Info is that you can't dive into any of the things on the screen like you can intelliscreen.

Or at least that's what my experience is/was. I didn't do any tweaking though I just downloaded the app and tried running it.

Can you make it so you can dive into details?

I tried getting the weather, email, ect. on LockInfo and became royally confused. I read all the pages and checked out the links - but it still is really that clear.

Could someone make a quick How-To Step by Step of how to get everything in the LockInfo screen.

Also, how do you get the standard Apple SMS/phone call notification to disappear so only the LockInfo screen is visible.

Thank you in advance and I'm sure this will help out MANY people.

I to am wondering the same thing. Mine gets cut off as well even though I just have the little unlock key. I would love to be able to have it go all the way down. He must have somehow adjusted the size of the scroll bar. But I have no idea how to do this.

Help?

Edit: Answered my own question. Under the Settings application there is the tab for "LockInfo". Click on that and there is a slider for "Extend to Bottom". Turn that from "off" to "on" and re-spring the device. Wala, it extends down to the bottom of the screen regardless of the slide to unlock bar.
