It is HTML. There are some issues with that and nobody has really been able to get it fixed. There is some header stuff you can add that is supposed to fix it, but it only fixed it for a little while for me then went back. Oh well. I just use Native Rendering now. Works perfectly and is really quick and requires no Winterboard. :D

I've heard you talk a lot about this Native Rendering, can you post a pic of how it looks like please.
Thanks.

Just turn off your theme and you'll see it. It's automatic if themes are disabled and turns off if you have a theme on.

I prefer the way native rendering looks and would like to use it but I can't find where to edit the .js to change the location of the weather.

Can anybody help?

Edit: And for some reason when I take the Gruppled theme off, the default "Slide to Unlock" bar takes priority over my lockscreen theme. I'd post screenshots but I'm at work.

I'm not sure there is anyone developing further for the Things Plugin. I believe it still works if you have Matte UI or something, but it needs Native support.

When I get Appigo Todo up and running I can try to do the same for Things. It'll be almost a copy and paste job considering The Todo plugin is a branch off of the Things plugin.

Thank you... I will keep a look.. anywhere to keep an eye out other than this post?

No .js. It's native so there is no JavaScript. I answered in another thread, but for everyone else, you have to adjust the FIRST location on the default Apple Weather app.

As far as the slider... The slider was part of the Gruppled Lockinfo theme. Copy those files out and put them in their own theme if you want to keep using it. That would be all the Telephony files. Call it Gruppled Slider or paste it in your Gruppled Art theme if you use it.

I recently reinstalled lockinfo (took it off for a bit) and now it won't work. All I get is a slightly dimmed wallpaper but none of the lockinfo bits show up. Is there something I'm missing? Its enabled and everything yet nothing comes up. I resprang and I rebooted twice to no avail...

Try turning off any themes for it.

Haha, no problem. I'd take one but I'm too lazy to edit out all my names and sensitive info on it. :p

Too many more important things to do.....

I'm waiting for my "barely used" 4 week old 3GS to be delivered (31st week of 2009)

Bought it after much searching for one in pristine condition, out of contract, made prior to 37th week. (new bootrom)

I don't have any themes for it, but I checked to see if any old ones were there and removed them...didn't help , but thanks for the suggestion :)

And all Plugins are enabled in settings? That's very odd. Try removing in Cydia and then deleting the /Library/LockInfo folder either with SSH or iFile or something, then install it again.

Excellent. Thank you.

Now I'll be patiently waiting for Todo support. After that my phone will be complete. :D

how did you guys get the weather icons to show up on lockinfo? its all blank for me...:( i just want it on the lock screen next to each day, but nothing is showing up for me.

Hey Guys -

Does that mean the first location from Apple weather app is displayed on the lockscreen?

I have installed lockscreen info but I have edited the .js file to get the location.

How do I get dynamic weather as mentioned above?

No problem. I'm not sure if you already saw my thread, but I have one going for Todo support.

Been answered MANY times. Search first. I can't even count how many. You need a theme. I uploaded one on here a while ago.

For native rendering there is no .js file... I said this a couple posts ago. So yes... It means the first location is displayed on the lockscreen. Next time try it first or read the directions. The same questions are being asked over and over here. Searching is going to be key so we don't have a crazy long thread with the same questions repeated over and over.

It's late and I'm frustrated with my current Todo plugin progress. I'm going to bed. So I'm sorry if I sound unfriendly. I'm usually quite nice. :D

lol as soon as i posted that question, i found the answer and did it myself. thanks anyways! :)

Okay!

I did all the reading and managed to load Lockinfo without winterboard.

I uninstalled winterboard. Cool!

Now I wanted weather to show up on lock screen so installed "Weathericon". Okay nothing happened. No weather on lockscreen.

Then I thought I need to install "Weatheicon lcokinfo theme". Okay I did that. I also copied Katra icons to Springboard app.

everything looked good.

Today morning when I was checking my phone, I saw winterboard back on the phone?!

All this did because I did not want Winterboard and now I see winterboard back! I have a feeling it was installed because of
"Weatheicon lcokinfo theme"!

Does this all mean if I need weather on my lcok screen I need to have Winterboard?! If that's true then all I did was a waste of time!

Can someone help me on this?

Any suggestions ViViDboarder?

I am pretty sure anything with .theme on the end auto installs WB. You can use Cydia to see what else it installed I believe by going into Manages/Packages and look at the theme page, I think there is a way to see what dependencies it needs or what it installed with it.

Yea. You can copy the contents of the .theme to your SpringBoard.app.

So basically everthing in /Library/Themes/Katra.theme/com.apple.springboard/ gets pasted in /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/ Should be a bunch of .png files and one .plist.

Then you can take out Winterboard.

Thanks for your reply. Actually I figured out that WB was installed by "Weathericon theme"!

So there is no way to get Weather without WB?

Thanks for your reply! I will try that.
