You have beta software? What would that be? Can I have it and run it forever? Do you offer old beta versions after the final release?
In all the open betas I've participated in I've never had someone give the final versions free to all beta testers.
If your practice does involve giving free versions to beta testers then you are the minority.
And as far as switching it without warning. It seems we're already on the same page understanding that you chose to be ill-informed when notification had been attempted to those users that actively participated in the beta on the forums or even updated their extension in Cydia.
Stop blaming the dev because you're too cheap to drop 5 bucks for an app.

Okay, I can't figure it out. I've spent a few hours deleting and moving files around and I cannot figure out how to fix this. I've got this theme working (from the links later in this thread) but I cannot for the life of me get the clock/weather thing at the top to NOT appear on my springboard, and just on my lock screen.
Can anyone help with this?
I suppose that's right. I hadn't even made that connection. I'll do some more searching. Hopefully I can figure it out.
Thanks!I like the way it looks too. To get the weather icons on the lockscreen, first make sure you have WeatherIcon installed. It's on the modmyi repo too. Then you have to have a WI theme (that's what puts the icons there). A couple examples of WI themes are: Fluffy, Katra (that's my fav), or tick. Just apply the icon theme in winterboard, respring, and the icons should be on your lockscreen.
I do have "WeatherIcon" installed but have a question.
In post #1137 you said your screenshot was all "Native Rendering" which I took to mean you did it without Winterboard. Your explanation about how to install the Weather icons says to "Just apply the icon theme in winterboard, respring, and the icons should be on your lockscreen." I'm a little confused, did you do everything "Native Rendering" without Winterboard or are you applying parts of a theme to Winterboard?

You can use only winterboard for your WeatherIcons if you want. Otherwise download a WeatherIcon theme and drop all the files into your springboard.app. This is all the png files AND the .plist file.
This has been covered before and I even posted a .zip of the katra images.

One of the reasons this theme looks good --> cause of that slider
Maybe you can help me with advise: how to replace lock (or add to Gruppled Lock Info folder/theme) with this or clear slider???

You have to copy the TellephonyUI folder from the theme you want the slider from and paste it in the theme you want the slider to be in. Basically copy the folder from your Gruppled Art theme to your Gruppled Lock Info theme.
Vivid is correct- native rendering just means there's no html theme (gruppled, matte li) on top of lockinfo. It's "native"
I still use winterboard. But vivid has a seperate thread about using lockinfo without winterboard.

I can't seem to find a ClockPlugin/plugin.js in the theme I'm using. Does that mean there is none, and LI is doing it's thing by default? Can I take the one from here, create a ClockPlugin folder, and drop it in to have LI notice it?
How are folks getting clocks in funky fonts, in big sizes?

The easiest way to do all this is to start with changing the headers on Native Rendering.
You just replace the section_header.png with an image that's transparent and respring. Fonts will require creating a special plist file that tells LI how to render. I can get that information for you if you need it, but start with Native Rendering.
If you want the Clock you only need the Clock Plugin from Cydia. Weather is from WeatherIcon in Cydia.

Five days ago I hadn't even heard of LockInfo or even half of the stuff mentioned in this thread (I wasn't even Jailbroken until about a week ago). I've since licensed my copy of LockInfo and I'm going to donate via PayPal for the Plug-Ins I'm using to help support the developer(s) efforts.
Speaking of which, the support has been fantastic! He has responded to my emails about some very small issues I was having within minutes!
Here's what I have so far: (No Winterboard, box stock except for the plug-ins and weather icons that I SSH'd.) Update: Just noticed there is an update out >>> v1.0.115 Addresses some issues with Cydget/Cydialer.

I would really like to figure out how to change the slider to somethng really slim or almost clear. I know where to slide, it could even be invisible. I just need more area to expand some folders.

If you want to keep the slider, you could download "Slide to Unlock Killer". It gets rid of the text inside the slider, making it more see-through.
It has to be activated through Winterboard though.
I know there's another app on Cydia that allows you to completely hide the slider, but I can't remember the name. You install that, as well as tap to unlock, that way the phone can tell the difference between unlocking and trying to expand the headers.
Could I trouble you for instructions on how to change the icons to color on my LI section headers?
Oh and how (if you know) I can create seperate calendars on my computer? I went into Outlook and looked around but couldn't find anything. All of my Calendar entries have a grey dot.
Sure. SSH in and go to "/"/Library/Lockinfo/Plugins. That's where each section folder should be. Take the icons that are in the individual headers in the folder I've attached and drop them into their respective folders (ie calendar to calendar, sms to sms, etc) in your iphone. They are already named what they're supposed to be named (section_icon). Hope that made sense!
I'm not sure of the answer to your second question, sorry, because I use ical on a mac. But hopefully an outlook user can help with that one.
Ninja, how do i change the slider without using Winterboard? Any instructions here would be very helpful. where do i copy the files from the zip file you attached?
I tried to install the min slider plugin from Cydia and it wanted to install WB.
really dont want to install WB - killed my device last time i did it.

Hi,
First of all unzip the file. It will give you two folders, one com.apple.springboard and other com.apple.telephonyui.
Step 1:-
Open com.apple.springboard, open en.proj, copy springboard.strings and paste it to /System/Library/CoreServices/springboard.app/english.Iproj. Soemtimes english.iporj can be en.Iproj.
Step2:-
open com.apple.telephonyui, copy all files and paste all files to /system/Library/privateframeworks/telephonyui.framework.
Do not paste into english.iproj
Better if you take a backup.
