Okay, so here's what I did today:
ctt1wbw,
Is the month view calendar part of the LockInfo "Clock Plug-In" from the BETA repo I directed you to, or is it part of the "Gruppled" theme?
I would love to get my LockInfo to look exactly like yours but I don't want to install Winterboard. If you could give me a link to the directions you used, I sure would appreciate it. I would like to see how close I cam come to how your screen looks just using LockInfo and associated plug-ins.
I would really like to get weather icons to work natively with WeatherIcon. I got an email response from David Ashman saying that the icons may be part of the next revision of WeatherIcon somewhere down the road.
Thanks in advance...
Just mixing some bits and this is what I've come up with that feels classy enough to keep.

Okay, here's the link:
LockInfo Theme
Yes, I believe you still have to use Winterboard. The trick is to only activate the things for this theme, and nothing else. I hate Winterboard, but so far with only these three things activated, it's pretty stable.
It's so easy to do. I used a program called Fugu to ssh into my iPhone. It's so easy. Just follow the directions to the letter and you should be jolly good.
Okay, so here's what I did today:
I think LockInfo is great!
I've got a lockscreen and a theme I'm very happy with...

what theme is this? Looks awesome. If you can post this and if there is a way to use it without WB, that is how my phone will look.

I'd just love to know how you got the weather with the moon and everything!
Post that, and your first drink is on me (you're local to me!).
BL.
Thank you ctt1wbw!!!
But my applied everything with Winterboard...but my screen does not look like yours ;-(
You have nice theme!!!
Has anyone else had their batteries go to crap after updating to the latest LockInfo. I was a beta tester and loved LockInfo so I did finally go ahead an upgrade to the latest version and am currently using native rendering and my battery is now doing horrible. I did reset my weather to only check every hour, just incase that was it, but no help. I have not installed or updated anything else recenlty so I think that this must be the problem. Next I guess I will just uninstall it and see if the battery life improves, but I love LockInfo. It is the main reason for my jailbreak.
Anyone else having battery issues?![]()
Best way for me to diagnose if this is somehow related to LockInfo is for you to install syslogd, let it run for a couple days and send me your /var/log/syslog file at iphone-support_at_ashman_dot_com. I can use that to see if something in LockInfo is being overactive on your phone.
I'll be uninstalling lockinfo very soon, when my 14 day trial is up. I'm annoyed by the fact that he's decided to start charging for it. You'd think all the feedback that users have provided in this forum would have been a goodwill gesture to keep it free.
but......to go ahead and unleash it via an update as a 14 day trial, without warning was absolutely classless.

You realize that the Developer has just now posted in this forum? So no... Nobody here has provided him significant feedback. Also, do you not think the countless hours the developer has put in to respond to the feedback and constant requests of users all over the internet (mostly on the macthemes forum actually) it would be a goodwill gesture to pay the measly 5 bucks for it?
So yea... I'm sure that Microsoft gives all their open beta testers free copies of windows because, you know, all the support the help they've given to Microsoft in the OPEN beta...
Also, if you actually looked at the Macthemes forum you'd see the developer had given a lot of prior notice about the app going to a paid app. If you're really a beta tester and really were communicating with the developer on the proper forum, you would have known this.
But it's up to him if he wants to give people copies of the app for their help or support in beta (people who donated during beta got licenses) and it's up to you if you want to pay for it now that it's a final release.
Agreed. I'm not a lockinfo fanboy (hehehe) but it's absurd to think that because we made some random posts on an unaffiliated message board about LI theming, that we should receive the app for free. Also, incidentally, I re-emailed the dev about a license since I donated during the beta stage and he responded within a few hours giving me a license. I felt like I should post that as an update to my previous post
He just must not have gotten my first email. I'm a happy camper now
