Still waiting on getting the source back from Ashman. I presume he's been busy but once I can get the source and compile it myself I'll see what I can do about any modifications. I'd like to do something about what you mention as well as Projects and the nested tasks inside them.

Thanks, really looking forward to these improvements!

Strange... Well send your syslog to the Dev and he'll see if he can fix it.

I mentioned it to David about a week ago but I'm really hoping for a timeframe setting on the Todo plugin. As of now it just shows the next three tasks on my list, no matter how far in the future they are. I'd like it to display upcoming tasks for say, a week out.

Anyway, he said he was planning on doing something of the sort but didn't mention any projected date.

Back to native Lockinfo and happy!

I played around with a lot of the html code to get the Gruppled theme to look like I wanted it, but in the end I was getting inconsistent performance from my lock screen (non-native). Scrolling sometimes worked, other times it would lock. Sometimes the lockscreen would come up blank and eventually load, and sometimes it wouldn't at all.

I've gone back to David's Native Lockinfo and added some Gruppled Icons to the look and then turned on the Tea Lock Background. I'm a happy camper and love making all my changes from within the settings.

I only wish I could get two cities like I did before. Maybe he will add this at some point.

can you post your files? I'm not sure how to get todo's into mine. I have it like yours except the todo plugin and my icons are centered.

What does your todo synch with?

Now that I'm using the Native InfoLock, followed VividBoarder's instructions for Bringing the Gruppled theme into Native LockInfo. I am using Appigo's Todo Lite application and I installed the Appigo Todo plugin for native from Cydia.

Very clean and works great! I love the background changing throughout the day (Tea Lockinfo)

Old Emails Showing on Lockscreen

Hello. I've installed the latest version of LockInfo through Cydia. After this latest version, the Mail portion of the lockscreen is showing old emails from days ago that I know i've deleted off the email server. This never used to happen with prior versions of LockInfo.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the same old messages show up. Please help.

Jacob

Go back through the thread...I believe there is an answer to this already though I'm not 100% positive. Never happened to me.

Has LockInfo been taken down from Cydia? I've added both sources but it's still not showing up.

Just went to ModMyI.com and checked their Cydia search and it showed up just fine. Just search lockinfo and it should show up as Lockscreen Info or something like that.

So I recently emailed David and he said he'll be putting the source up sometime soon. He's been a bit preocupied lately. As soon as that's up I'm sure either he or I will have a chance to check it out.

Just a question, do you think it would be worthwhile to have a set "Days in advance" setting, or just to filter out tasks that are due in more than 1 year? I guess some people may even have weekly tasks to a "Day, Week, Month, Year" option may be good.

Well I think in my case, doing the filter one year out wouldn't make much difference because I have several monthly recurring tasks. I'd prefer a week out, if anything.

I would prefer to be able to select "Days" in advance, but I would be happy with anything other than "no choice". I really don't like seeing tasks I just completed (weekly, monthly, yearly) pop right back up on the screen if I have less than five tasks in the "Lists".

Thank you for taking this on, good luck.

Old Emails still showing up.

Yeah, I had noticed this to and switched it to off, plus did a bunch of other stuff and finally it went back to normal. Thanks. Working well again. :D

I've tried enabling the "inbox only" setting, disabling then enabling the Mail plugin and respringing and I'm still getting old emails on the lockscreen showing 15/96. I even uninstalled LockInfo and then reinstalled. Ugh. Any other ideas?

I bought lockinfo through the cydget section of cydia. Everything is working just fine but the weather temperatures update only when I turn on the lockscreen, turn it off and then turn it back on. Is that normal? I'm ok with that but I figured it would change once I started it the first time.

I have the intervals set to 1 hour since the weather temps don't change too much hour to hour. Weathericon is installed and getting all of the correct info from the stock Apple weather app. Just curious if this is normal.

Those are the right sources. I'm not sure why it isn't showing for you. Instead of using the search field go to Manage>Sources>ModMyi. Then go down to the "L's"....both LockInfo and LockInfo Cydget should be available there.

Just so you know, if you're going to run LockInfo through winterboard you don't need the LockInfo Cydget.

Yea, I've checked the ModMyi.com source but the problem is that there aren't ANY packages showing up. Completely blank. I'm going to try and delete/add the source again, however I'm not sure if that's going to work.

*Edit*

Just realized I can't since it came with the package. At a loss here.

Oh, that's weird. Well I think you could just download the .deb file straight from the ModMyi page here then SSH it to your phone. Follow the link and click on "name" at the top of the page to put things in alphabetical order. Then go to the latest lockinfo (release Nov 25, 2009). Once that's downloaded you can follow these directions to use auto install....

You don't need Fugu, any SSH app will do. I use Cyberduck. Good luck!

I might have imagined this...

But is there a plugin for lockinfo so my push notifications from various programs don't pile up over my lockinfo screen? Popup blocker is taking care of SMS, but I use Yammer all the time and that's popping up over Lockinfo.

I could have sworn there was a way to add a line in Lockinfo for this stuff, but maybe I just imagined it?

Have you enabled the "block popups" option in the Lockinfo settings menu?

Strange. I know the standalone popup blocker app has the option to select which popups are blocked but I thought the one built into Lockinfo blocked all by default...

Hmm...I can try unselecting it, reselecting it and seeing if that does anything...

Ideally I'd love a line on Lockinfo that just said "missed notifications" and ran down what I didnt acknowledge, rather than 50,000 popups. :)

Where are these instructions please? I want that same exact look. I'm using Gruppled Lockinfo theme but of course want the Todo. Your's looks like that pretty much, but has the Todo.

Thanks in advance!

Wait, I think I found it on page 50 post 1235?

First off, I'm running lockinfo without winterboard.

I'm trying to use the Gruppled Native Dim theme from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=5...e6ba49b5870170

OK. So I open the folder that says "Gruppled Dim" and dragged all of the contents to Library>Lockinfo on my phone and resprung. Nothing.

What exactly do I need to do with "Gruppled Dim" and where exactly do I need to place each of the theme files in that folder?

Hopefully this question helps out others who are also lost with all of this. Many thanks.
Yea, read my above post for the files. Here's basic WITHOUT WINTERBOARD instructions. With Winterboard just activate the themes.
Download Gruppled Art.zip
Open it up and go into Gruppled Art.theme/Bundles
Copy everything from com.ashman.lockinfo to /Library/LockInfo/
Copy everything from every plugin com.ashman.lockinfo.calendar, com.ashman.lockinfo.sms, etc... to their respective folders, /Library/LockInfo/Plugins/com.ashman.sms whatever. Paste the files in the folders so you replace the section icons with the new ones.
PLEASE BACKUP ANY FILES BEFORE YOU REPLACE THEM.
If you want the WeatherIcon theme you gotta do that from the Gruppled Dim or Gruppled Dark or whatever it is. Those files (a bunch of .png files and one .plist. NO FOLDERS, just the files) go into /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
PLEASE BACKUP ANY FILES BEFORE YOU REPLACE THEM.
If you want to theme the Status bar you will have to do that as well. This is not a part of LockInfo.
Go to Gruppled Art.theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard/
PLEASE BACKUP ANY FILES BEFORE YOU REPLACE THEM.
Copy the images that you want themed (status bar and probably media controlls) to the SpringBoard.app folder I mentioned earlier.
PLEASE BACKUP ANY FILES BEFORE YOU REPLACE THEM.

Always backup files that you replace, especially if they are STOCK iPhone files. I can't stress this enough.

You will have to do this every time LockInfo is updated. At least replacing the images (the weathericon stuff will stay). You can create a .sh script to do this automatically for you when you run it to make it a little less painful. If you don't know what I'm talking about, copy and paste just to be safe. Maybe someone wants to make a custom theme folder with a .sh script that will apply and remove the theme for novice users.

I am trying out the LockInfo Cydget (seems ok so far) and I noticed that you guys have the weather icons. Is there any easy way to add those icons or do you have to add them manually or with Winterboard? I don't really want to use Winterboard and if I have to use SSH or whatever, I'll probably just go back to using Intelliscreen. Thanks.

David Ashman has said the next weathericon release will have basic icons included.
