Hey VividBoarder,

Thanks for all your help, but I have another weather problem....

The correct temp and icon is shown on my home screen. However, on my lockinfo screen's weather section header, it always displays the moon, regardless of the time of day. For example, in the screenshot, it is 11:46 AM.

-I reinstalled Lockinfo and the Weather plugins from Cydia. No dice.

-The weirdest part: when I respring and check the lockscreen, the correct weather section icon displays for about ten seconds, then reverts back to showing the moon.

Check in your WeatherIcon settings. There is a switch to use local time instead of just what the day night from the weather server is. Not sure why but mine (I'm not using that switch) shows night right now too, but it's 1:14pm here.

I just turned on the local time switch and it fixed it for me. Try that.

It's an issue with your theme. I'm assuming it's an HTML theme.

The theme name would help.

Not sure of the name, based on the teehanlax homescreen.

The weather in the upper right corner doesn't refresh, rather just reloads on top of the previous information, resulting in this:

Been checking the code for quite a while, can't figure out how to fix it.

Lockinfo does not show on my lock screen the majority of the time. In order to get it to show, I have to unlock the blank lockscreen first. Then it is okay for a little while.

--Anyway, I deleted Lockinfo, Weathericon, etc. to do a clean reinstall. However, even after I deleted these programs and removed all weather icons from my springboard.app folder, I still get my Weather Channel app showing a themed icon and wrong temperature.

--I searched and searched for this icon, but cannot find it anywhere. Any ideas what file to change to get it back to stock?

Well there should be a separate weathericon and weathericon plugin. Make sure you have both removed.

Also, if it's showing the wrong temp, make sure it's set to the right location. It will be the first one in your stock apple weather app.

Also, I have a question for anyone using my Appigo Todo Plugin. It it working with the latest version of Appigo Todo? I had a report that it wasn't and I thought I'd check. It works with my latest version of Todo Lite.

ViVidboarder,

As of right now, your version of the Appigo Todo Plugin is working perfectly with version 3.1 of Appigo ToDo (full, not lite). I think Appigo ToDo version 3.2 is out but I haven't upgraded yet. When I do, I'll let you know if the two play well together or not.

Later...

Working fine with Appigo Todo Lite!

Yea, I got a report from someone running the latest full and said it's working for them... I wonder what's up with the one person who said it wasn't working. Oh well. All they said was can you fix it without telling me what exactly was wrong... So I have no clue what to do about it.

Vividboarder,

I want to thank you again for all the hard work you have put into the Todo plugin. It it wasn't for people like you and Stimpy5050 (LockInfo), all I would have is just a plain iPhone. ;)

Happy Holidays!

Okay, so now my Lockinfo Weather Icon is not refreshing. Also, Lockinfo doesn't always load. Why? Any ideas? I have the native version.

WeatherIcon has always been spotty for me. It doesn't refresh sometimes and then it gets stuck until you restart the springboard.

I've uninstalled it because the inaccurate information wasn't valuable.

How can I resize bottombarbkgndlock.png so that it is "shorter" than 96 px?

My goal is to be able to interact with the section headers near the bottom of the screen; for example, being able to open and close the sections near the lock slider.

However, when I resize bottombarbkgndlock.png in GIMP (down to 48 px) and sub it into my iPhone via SSH, it seems the image is rescaled to its default height of 96 px.

Any way around this?

Thanks!

how can i install the lockinfo icons (cydia app) without using winterboard? just got a warranty replacement and i do not want to use winterboard anymore....thanks in advance.

1) Locate the lockinfo icons .PNG files:
-SSH to /private/var/stash/Themes.J36EXZ/LockInfo icons.theme/Bundles

2) Copy the PNG files in each folder to a new folder on your hard drive.

3)SSH to /library/lockinfo

4)Make backup copies of the original Lockinfo Icons. Place each backup in the folder you created in step 2. Personally, I name the backups with an "orig" at the beginning to distinguish themj.

5) Replace each icon with the new one, being careful to rename the new ones the exact same as the old ones.

6) Respring your iPhone.

Would someone with some Photoshopping skills be able to do me a small favour?

I am trying to change the status and lock bars in Lockinfo to match the general colour theme that I have on my homescreen. I have successfully tracked down and replaced the header PNG files, but can't create the effect that I am hoping to acheive.

I am hoping to get the bars to match the top bar on the attached calendar icon, with the blue gradient effect. Would anyone be able to help out? I've attched the bars that need editing.

Thanks in advance :)

i've had lockinfo installed for a week now and i am loving it. i love being able to pick up my iPhone from sleep and see if i have any missed calls or emails without having to unlock the phone. keep up the good work guys!

@dmo82: Thanks for the instructions.

My last phone's battery was being consumed at a rapid pace, so Apple was nice enough to replace it for me. Somehow, I do not have to do a tethered jailbreak even with a week 47 3GS!

How often do people have their Weather and Twitter plugins updated? Any recommended settings to optimize battery and memory usage? I have mine at 15 minute intervals.

Is it a refurb phone ? Is the 2nd digit of the serial number a letter instead of a number ?

If so, it's a refurb.

The date given in the serial # is the refub date, so even though it's week 47, the phone was manufactured before the bootrom changeover so it has the old bootrom.

Bingo, yup, it's a letter...thanks for the info.

I have my weather at 1-hour intervals. In my opinion, you don't need to know the weather any more often than that...weather doesn't change THAT fast. Also, every little bit helps with your battery, and 15 minutes is, in my opinion, unnecessary.

I don't use Twitter, but I could see why you would want it set to a higher checking frequency.

I have Weather set to every 2 hours and Twitter set to every 4. I only ever think about checking twitter about that often and I happen to like having battery life, haha.

My battery gets pretty good life now.

I applied the Gruppled Lockinfo theme and the Gruppled Art slider, but it keeps getting rid of my clock calendar plugin. I even reinstalled it, changed the order in Lockinfo but its not there. Does it not support it?
