LockInfo is 3.0 Ready.

On another note, I'd like to mention that I have set up an account with Pledgie to accept donations. It's taking more and more time for me to answer requests of what is now a lot of users (just using the latest versions of my plugin it's about 15k users). Also, I should note, but I'm sure the users here know this already... I'm not the developer of LockInfo. So I don't get the money you use to buy the main program and he doesn't get the donations you give me. We are two different developers. :)

Bug fix updates to both my plugins.

You can get them on the google code pages in my quoted post.

Fixes are for the refresh operation. So you'll get the new refresh button and it will auto refresh when you mark and item as Done.

hmm just updated lockinfo and it seems to be crashing my phone every time i receive a notification (text in my case). had to restart a few times, thought i needed a restore :eek: but just double clicked home button to open ipod then i was able to access my springboard. disabled lockinfo and now i am ok. anybody else having issues? running lockinfo 2.1.2.6

None here... You running anything else that effects popups? Maybe Grip or Popup Blocker?

EDIT: Nevermind. I just realized there was a new update and people over at MacThemes are reporting a lot of issues... For anyone else, hold off on the 2.1.2.6 update. I'm sure David will fix it soon.

EDIT 2: Fixed in 2.1.2.7. Go get it. :) Man, this thread has really slowed down...
 
seems to be working now, only thing now is every time i get a new text it says received at 4pm

2.1.2.7 does appear to be stable, although I have a new, non-fatal error with email preview. Launching the mail app from email preview does not go to the email. Just stalls on a blank lockinfo screen. Closing out of lockinfo without a crash, then finding the target email is already open in the mail app.

There is so much functionality here, I'm not sure that we need to keep adding to the complexity. I'd be fine with 2.1.2.5 as a general release.

Can someone help, I have asked others researched and talked with David to no help.
I had a cracked version of Lockinfo that stopped working, Bought the actual software from Ashman and it still doesnt work. I tried manually and automatically reinstalling and deleting all files to Lockinfo. Both cracked and actual legit software. Nothing will work all I get is to go to Settings - Lockinfo to start using Lockinfo.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you should try restoring the phone as new. Sometimes those cracked versions really mess up the phone.

One, I have to wait till the new software is unlockable. Two, after researching hard I have come across others with the same issue that have restored to new from scratch that have the same issue.

I learned my lesson a long time ago. I admit to having downloaded a couple of cracked apps because there was no free trial available. Never again!

Not sure what your issue is... So you go to Settings, do you see LockInfo?
 
I have a new functionality request:

1. Can we have an option to see preview of email/calendar/sms etc etc only on the home screen or infoshade but not on the lockscreen?

What I mean is, I want to see my mail preview only when I am inside the phone (after unlocking) but not on the lock screen. I don't want someone else to see my emails. I like the current preview feature but I cannot use because of the insufficient privacy.

Also, this will be useful when I have 1 or 2 mails in three different mailboxes (yahoo, gmail, exchange) I can see all emails in one place instead of going to individual mailboxes. I am very sure that will reduce my use of default mail apps a lot!

That feature is already there, just disable the lockscreen feature under the settings of the app and enable the features on the homescreen.

You'll have to email the developer. He doesn't really keep up with this thread. He only posted once or twice here.

I dont think that feature exists but i will appreciate if you prove me wrong. Give me some screenshots.

Do you mean that you want to have the lockinfo on the lockscreen just not the preview? If so, you are correct. In my original post I assumed you meant you did not want any of lockinfo on your lockscreen on only on the homescreen or infoshade.

Yes, you got it!

What I wanted is, everything as it is PLUS,

enable/disable preview feature on lockscreen/homescreen/infoshade etc.

When this is available, I will disable preview on lockscreen but enable it on homescreen.

Not me. Mine's actually pretty good. Try disabling it with SBSettings and seeing if that's improving things.

Also, try putting a longer delay for WeatherIcon, Twitter, RSS Reader, etc... if you use any of those. Mine are set to every 2 hours except Twitter which is every 4. I don't care to see those update that often from my lockscreen. If I need more recent stuff I can hit refresh or open the actual apps. :)

If you have it installed, swipe your status bar so it comes down. Hit more. It's the smaller button on the bottom left of the slide down menu. Then hit Mobile Substrate Addons. Now you can hit the slider for LockInfo and disable it. If you don't notice any change you can turn it back on that way.

You can also do that to disable anything else that may be draining battery. Also, if you do plan on uninstalling anything that you disabled, make sure you enable it again before removing it in Cydia.

how do you put a delay in the WeatherIcon? :)
