LockInfo is 3.0 Ready.

RSS Feeds

I've had a problem ever since a few updates ago - my rss feeds (when I touch on them) now appear in html, whereas previous those few updates, I would simply get plain text. My rss url's have not changed, and I even tried re-inputting one of them, but no joy. The macrumors feeds are impossible to read, as it's displayed very narrow as though it's squashed in from the sides.

Is this how it's supposed to display (ie html)? How would I get the old plain text back? I have a 2g on a provider which doesn't have edge, so my data connection is horribly slow.

Thanks for any help.

BTW I can't imagine my phone without Lockinfo now, it's great :)

Yeah, that's how it's supposed to display now. On the official thread on macthemes, a couple of people have asked for it to be reverted, so maybe the dev will do so.

Thanks for that info UngratefulNinja, I shall check out said thread and monitor in the hopes of reversion ;)
 
Since today's Lockinfo update (2.2.1.1 I think) my lockscreen does not come on, can't access mail (it crashes) and phone is running hot.

Anyone else ?

I am gonna use Cydia to get rid of LockInfo to see if that fixes it.

Edit:
As soon as I removed LockInfo via Cydia, MobileMail.app works again. Phone is cooling down, battery recharging as this killed battery

You are not alone on the mobilemail.app crash. Several of us on the macthemes thread have reported it. I've also sent an email directly to David. I haven't noticed the battery or heat issue, but now that I've read this I'll be a little more sensitive to it and see what my experience is.

Thank God David is an active developer and I'm certain we will see a change or a -1 revision soon.

Also noticed you couldn't shut off the mail app in SBSettings processes.
 
New new version of LockInfo (2.2.1.2) on Cydia. Once installed lockscreen works again,so does MobileMail, but...

lots of Sad Mac crashes especially with Cydia, PkgBackup and SBSettings.

Had to remove Lockinfo again in order to use the phone as it constantly goes to Sad Mac

I sent an email to David...

Edit: Lockinfo 2.2.1.3 just popped up, going to try it.

Still getting Sad Mac crashes on 2.2.1.3 when trying to use Cydia.

Gonna remove 2.2.1.3
 
Got an e-Mail from David.

He posted 2.2.1.4 which is exactly the same as 2.2.1.0 (last stable version) He backed out the changes.

I'm gonna try it as soon as it shows up in Cydia.
 
Quick question. I have a cydget enabled and whenever I unlock my phone for a split second I can see my lockscreen background and lockinfo, even though I have lockinfo on lockscreen option disabled. I don't have any performance issues or problems with this, it just kind of bothers me a little. Anyone else have this problem/ a fix for this?

Same here, and I removed Cygadet.

And still no Lockinfo update in Cydia. Still shows 2.2.0.3 as the newest.

yeah but it has an option for stock sms app inside the quick reply menu now.. idk like i said maybe i'm misunderstanding but i thought from the release notes it would be more like quickreply

I don't understand why you just don't set iRealSMS to portrait only within the app itself????

This thread is probably not the best place to ask about the iPad lockscreen as it's not applicable to LockInfo.

At least not until it's jailbroken. My guess is that since they both use the same SDK and have mostly the same API's that, if David had an iPad, he could get it to work there. The real issue is that there is no released iPad jailbreak and I don't think he's motivated to do that. It's not like your phone which is your information center. It's a leisure device. :p

We'll see. :)
 
hmm just updated to lockinfo 2.2.1.9 and now the screen where the clock should be is blank and everything is moved down. is something going on with the lockscreen clock hide?
 
same issue 2.2.1.10

had to go to settings>lockinfo>lcokscreen>layout and enable hide lock clock, now all is well

didn't know that this was an option when i had it installed... but i still don't see why it overrides rotation inhibitor in the first place?
