Looks like a nice app. Wondering if after installation a reboot of the phone is required or just a respring. If anyone could let me know I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Martin

Is there a way to make it manual refresh (tapping the refresh button on LockInfo only)?

Yes. I love LockInfo and can't imagine my phone without it now...

downloaded a lockinfo update last night, really good stuff in this one! Clicking notifications finally brings up the app associated with it, much simpler settings screen and integration allowing you to customize the lockscreen a ton!

Supposedly has a quick reply through the sms app now too, but it wasn't working for me. When i click on an sms on the lockscreen it does nothing, even turned "show text" back on to see if that would help but it didn't. When the phone is unlocked it just opens the sms app when you click it, not sure if that's all it's supposed to do, sounded to me in the release notes that it was supposed to be more similar to quickreply just with the stock sms app instead?

Anyways, glad i bought lockinfo, one of the best investments i've made on my phone thus far!!!!!

Keep up the great work david!

I haven't used it with the stock messaging app, but with iRealSMS (i know, expensive) it works fantastic. Tap the sms in lockscreen and it brings up your reply window instantly.

I can go for hours without leaving my lockscreen!

The quick reply only works with if you have the SMS apps from cydia (like iRealSMS or Quick Reply). It does not work with the stock messaging app.

That is the intention of Quick Reply for the Stock Messages app. It's not like the other Quick Reply apps, but it does jump you right to the conversation.

yeah i know, i've used bitesms and ireal, bitesms is kind of buggy with lockscreen unfortunately, and ireal for some reason ignores rotation inhibitor and i hate when my texts (or any app) switches to landscape on me. Whichever one gets fixed first will get my money, just don't want to pay $15 for something that doesn't work the way i want it ya know?

yeah but it has an option for stock sms app inside the quick reply menu now.. idk like i said maybe i'm misunderstanding but i thought from the release notes it would be more like quickreply

-EDIT-

ahh thanks vivid i see now, yeah it just jumps you to the app... looks like i'll still be waiting for an update to stop the damn spinning on ireal!

Lock Weather Plugin Image Size

VividBoarder or anyone else who knows and is feeling helpful today.......

Is there an easy way to change the size of the current weather icon for the LockWeather plugin? It is so big that it overlaps into the next section header.

Thanks!

Moving Lockinfo

I have a theme setup with clockhide on but a clock that takes up the same ammount of space. I was wondering how I could move the bars down to where it is with noclock off. Thank you.

If you use a theme with Winterboard you gotta go into the theme folder and then the springboard folder and look at your com.ashman.weathericon.plist file.

If you're not using winterboard, that file will be /System/CoreServices/Springboard.app/com.ashman.weathericon.plist.

You'll see some numbers (between 0 and 1) that are used for scaling the images. Play around with those and you'll get it right.

Thanks VB....I did figure out the current conditions icon, but I am unable to fix the problem below with the six-day forecast. Any adjustments made in com.ashman.weathericon.plist have no effect whatsoever on the size of the icons in the forecast. Are there any other files that could exist that contain parameters for forecast icon size?

I used to be able to click links that launched within the Twitter portion of Lockscreen, but now it makes me wants to send a reply to the person (i.e. clicking a link by Engadget brings me to a @Engadget screen)

That's the way the twitter plugin has always worked for me. Touch a tweet and you start with @whoever. Touch compose and you get a blank slate to tweet on.

Im sure this has been mentioned but i installed Lockinfo the other day and noticed it used the battery life up faster so after a couple days, i deleted it. Its nice but i can live without it and rather have better battery life.
