LockInfo is 3.0 Ready.

Just wanted to let everyone know, in case they didn't see it, new Todo and 2D plugins went out late 2 nights ago.

Since then (about 30 hours):
3,700 combined downloads


Also I just wanted to thank everyone for the support. Both the encouragement on the forums and donations. I've had 6 total donations so far and they definitely help me but my nose to the screen and get things fixed. Every time my phone pops up with a donation I immediately sit down and get to work. :p
 
A pre-sale question. How's the battery life issue? Do I need to be constantly charging my phone to sustain LockInfo?

And i'd be happy if the original topic starter would change the phrase free alternative to intelliscreen...

I've been using it for a bit and haven't notice any reduced battery life, mywi... Different story :D
 
I just restored my 3GS and I reinstalled Lockinfo. The only problem is that I'm stuck on an old version. I want the latest version that has the hide clock & slider. How do I do this!? I hadn't played with Lockinfo in a WHILE, so I forget.

I updated to the latest version via Cydia last night and ive now lost my lock info. Any suggestions on what i can do to fix it?
 
It re-appears on first reboot but then disappears as soon as you lock the phone once. The version installed is 2.2.1.11. Is there an up to date changelog anywhere?

There were problems with the latest beta and the dev pulled it. It appears that he rolled out a stable alpha (v2.2.1.12) until he can get the bugs worked out and put it back into beta.

Same here! I did the update and now everything is slowly disappearing. First it was the clock on the lock screen and now its everything on the lock screen. Everything is gone. Any fixes?

I have rebooted. Powered off, powered on. Left off overnight. Resync in iTunes. Nothing works....

Thanks I'll take a look at it, just think it's kind of ridiculous I have to do research to "update" an app I paid $5 for. There is an update for lockinfo like every other day. Maybe the dev should hold off on the updates so frequently and make sure it works properly. It's a great app when it is working, but I don't know what's more annoying, having an app I paid for not working or the constant cydia updates. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Really?
you added the beta source, what were you expecting to get? If you don't know what that is you shouldn't have done it .
There is a perfectly stable version that goes through the regular repos ...

The official release that you paid for isn't updated until the beta is stable. You won't see the "annoying" updates on Cydia if you remove the alpha or beta repo. Had you stayed with the official release, you would have exactly what you paid for, a stable working release. You don't have to "research" for updates if you remove the repos you added, the official release updates can easily be found on Cydia and Rock when available. The purpose of the beta releases is to help the dev (through feedback, not criticism) find bugs because he isn't able to test every possible configuration out there. People who add the beta repo should expect bugs to surface as the next revision is being developed and new features are being added. When all the bugs are worked out of the beta then the dev will release it as an official update.
 
for some reason i am unable to connect my iphone onto my mac.
i have tried using both cyberduck and fuya (or whatever it is called)
i am connected to the internet via a router and im quite sure the ip address i am typing in is correct along with all the other information.

however i am having trouble switching the ssh on, since i cannot manage to bring it into the toggles.

please help
