Bring wired one. Wired whatever is much better than wireless whenever possible for anything, including also keyboards and mice. Batteries are obnoxious to the environment, besides much less convenient (for instance, less responsive) and a pain to recharge routinely. We are destroying planet Earth and nobody seems to care.
I hope you are using a desktop to write this comment otherwise you should immediately turn that battery-powered device off because you are destroying the planet, you monster!

Tried something similar when I started having issues. Didn't get on with it at all, so got a trackpad.

Five years later, trackpad is still my daily. Pity the supply of ones with decent Windows drivers is poor :(

Ordered! I have a very old vertical Logitech mouse that I love. It’s on its last legs though, so this is perfect timing!

For those of you knocking it, you really should give it a try. So much better for your hand and wrist than a traditional mouse or trackpad. Only takes a couple days to get used to it.

So does the Magic Mouse, and that thing is as unergonomic as it gets...
I wouldn't disagree with you there. I use the MX Master 2 which looks ok to me and is ergonomic enough to not give me any fatigue using it all day.

I had the MX Master and now I use the MX Master 2S.

Does this vertical one have a thumb button like the MX master has were I have it set up to bring up all my desktop windows and then I can jump to which ever app (mission control)?

Over 15 years ago, in the days when I had a desktop rather than a laptop, I used one of these. It was brilliant, and I'd trade wrist-strain for looking ridiculous every time.

It sounds fantastic, I love innovation! Why didn't Apple come up with this?

Magic Mouse look sleek but the Logitech one (MX Master 2S or MX Anywhere 2S) have more functions and are much more comfortable to use. Little wonder both my Magic Mouse are in the drawer

I like it! Might have to get one. I had the Microsoft ergonomic mouse and it took a few days to get used to it but it was nice. I may get this later in the year when reviews are out.

Can't say for sure, but look at the second picture in the article. There is a button positioned right above the thumb.
