I was half expecting her to be in the room checking Sun's baby in the hospital.

Fertility specialist to pediatrics specialist.

that what i was expecting too. still possible, though.
it would also be the perfect connection to have her meet sawyer again, with sawyer investigating sun's shooting.

this line of events is still very incomplete: now jin and sun are in the us, with no visa, no money, no real job skills, no english but plenty of hospital bills, a baby arriving, and a very hostile, powerful and vindictive father/father in law looking for them.

also, will sawyer find desmond (for the hit and run) or will desmond find sawyer? how will he "activate" his connection to island sawyer? my guess goes back to juliet: it's his meeting with her that will trigger the connection.

ps. sawyer was totally 'in' with the starwars references. not only he was calling someone chewy (hurly himself maybe?) some time back, but it was him that said that sayid went "to the dark side". and to hurley i think he said something like "sayid ain't no anakin". except of course he is, and he'll redeem himself by finishing Flocke.

I want to know when the real Locke is coming back. There's no way he's simply dead and gone. He's got to be the hero to save the day in the end, doesn't he?

Also... seriously? How can we be this close to the end with so many questions unanswered. This is getting ridiculous. They're going to have to have a full length movie with just straight question answering to get them all answered completely. No matter how good the ending, I can virtually guarantee we're all going to be left here with questions unanswered and still frustratingly confused at certain aspects of the story.

ARGH!!! I love this show!

Does there have to be a 'hero' in the end to save the day? I think that it would be just silly to have someone (Sayid etc.) to just defeat the 'evil' Flocke (whom it seems to me isn't that evil at all) and then that would be the end. I don't think it is as black and white as it appears. It would be just cliched and ridiculous to have Flocke be the bad guy and than have everyone defeat him and take care of the island.

The final 90 minute episode will be set in a conference room, with the cast answering each others questions (even they are confused).

Jack: "Hey, what was the point in the polar bear? That was pretty random"
Kate: "Ohhh, yeah lolz, that was mad. It was for...."

That's why I'll be spending the $300 on the 6 season DVD set with bonus features...

That would be a rip off. :D You can get the complete collection on Blu-ray from Amazon for $194.99!

Edit: I was just looking at the cover of Lost: The Complete Collection and was wondering what the cover means. Is someone under that sheet? Who could it be? Is it Walt? There's also a Dharma logo on it!

Interesting, I wouldn't think it'd be ready for pre-order so I hadn't bothered to search. I was only guessing the $300 based on the fact that separate seasons are ~$50 each.

I wonder if there will be a 'special edition' with extended footage/features/secrets revealed sort of thing...

I have a feeling we will only see real Locke in the FST going forward. Dead is dead, remember?

I was thinking about this yesterday. They're just sort of dragging their feet with these final episodes, but every week they advertise the crap out of the final episode. I have a feeling they are going to save ALL the question-answering for the 2 hour series finale, and it's going to blow us all away.

I can't remember being more excited for anything in the recent past!

Interesting when you say he doesn't seem that evil to you - this is sort of the position that many of the survivors on the Island are taking. Sure he is back from the dead, and he slaughtered everyone at the temple, and he killed half of the 815 survivors, along with however many more people Jacob brought to the Island before that - but he can't be THAt bad

They have been pushing the 'live together, die alone' thing since what? season 2? and they haven't let up with it yet. All of them being together, as one group of survivors, is extremely important, and most likely will end in the destruction of MiB - if they can set aside their differences and FINALLY work as a team (which would finally prove Jacob right about humanity...#justsayin).

The Complete Collection is the "special edition". It contains a bonus disc that buying the seasons separately won't get you.

So the Complete Collection will feature bonus material that the season 6 blu ray will not include? That's a total bummer, especially for long-time LOST fans who already own the previous 5 seasons. I know this happens all the time in media sales, but this is one of the few times LOST has let me down...

I have a feeling we will only see real Locke in the FST going forward. Dead is dead, remember?

I'm waiting for him to show up and talk to Hurley (like Michael did) and watch MIB freak out when he see's him.

I also don't think MIB will die at the end of all this, just remain on the island in frustration with Jacobs replacement.

I think I figured out what's under the cloak. It's the LHC. The mystery of the island is caused by the simulated "Big Bang".

Is this confirmed? kinda sucks for me, but maybe it will be for sale independently

If you search for "Lost The Complete Collection" on Google, you will find several webpages that announce the release date. All of them mention a special disc. Here is one from Blu-ray.com:

Lost: The Complete Collection will include an additional bonus disc with at least two hours of extra exclusive content.

Here's another one from High-Def Digest:

The 36-disc Complete Collection will include all six seasons as well as an exclusive bonus disc with at least 2 hours of additional bonus content.

oh well, i am sure that material will eventually be accessible in other ways :)

Hear hear. I love Lost and I plan on buying the Bluray boxset once it's available in the UK... but I'm not also going to buy the DVD one just for 2 hours extra footage. They can go run.

I see what you mean, but comparatively to Widmore, who has committed countless atrocities and in just the last episode reneged on his promise and appeared just about to kill the survivors, and Jacob hasn't been exactly 'Virgin Mary'! He was the one who brought them to the Island in the first place, and he was the one who didn't want to help out with them whatsoever (I believe that was in the Ab Aberteno episode) just leave them there to do what they do. A massive experiment for him. Sounds sociopathic, not friendly. I think compared to all the other options Flocke is the best choice.

I think it is meant to represent that the 'curtain is about to get pulled'

I agree that between Locke and Widmore, Locke is the better choice. Widmore has proven time and time again that he shouldn't be trusted, most recently in this weeks episode.

There is always a strong 'follow the leader' theme in LOST. The leader switches from season to season, but there is always someone calling the shots. I think instead of picking Locke or Jacob or Widmore, they need to realize that, if they work together, they can do this by themselves. I mean, your group has a seasoned pilot, and theres an in-tact plane across the pond...come on! Did someone get shot? There's a doctor in the house! Oh, we need a boat to get to the other side? Ask the con-man to get that one! etc...

It's pretty clear that blindly following one person's orders is what gets them into trouble - ie. Jacob.

So does anyone else think that Desmond might be the new Jacob? It seems as though he's going around fixing everyone's lives off the island. He knows everything off the island. I mean Jacob was able to get off the island and influence/meet everyone. It seems that's what Desmond is doing now.

1 major problem with my theory I can see - it was Charlie that opened his eyes to the island life and jogged his memory of an alternate universe/life/time line.

That is quite an interesting parallel.. definitely one to entertain. What say you people of the LOST thread?! :D
