There have been TV commercials. I don't know what's in them, because I change the channel right after they start.

They are intentionally showing no footage from the new season before tonight. No need to avert your eyes. The producers said it would give too much away if they showed even a second of footage from the new season.

Happy premeire.!

Yeah, the first and second episodes of the season from 9pm to 11pm

EST time.

Really? I thought it was 1 2 hour long special?

And PST. Which means I'll be waiting a few hours more than you east-coasters.

It's two 1-hour episodes. That way if they want to air them separately at a later date, they can.

Wait, what? They are going by local time? Who do they think the are, Apple?

That's something I seriously hate about living on the west coast. The East coast gets shows 3 hours earlier and gets live shows LIVE. You'd think, considering that half the live stuff (like American Idol, awards shows, etc.) are filmed in SoCal that we would get them live, but nope, tape delays every freakin' time...

Episode 1 Alert:
Is Jack right now on the airplane (With Desmond) from Sydney to LAX like in Episode 1...but they didn't crash? Does that mean they successfully changed the past?!

Err, WHAT THE CRAP...The Island sunk?!

You don't need white text in this thread. It says spoilers on show nights in the heading. Same as every year. West coasters be warned

I never really noticed it before, but I now know what all those people where complaining about with the number of commercial breaks the past few years.

17 minutes of commercials per "1 hour" episode.

Anyway. Part 1 is over and I'm only more confused. I figured this would be the season that I'm not confused after every episode. Somehow right when the edisode started I KNEW that the smoke monster was "fake john". That's about all I took from that ep. So we have them landing safely and we have them on the island after the bomb. Makes NO sence.

Spoiler below

I think Jacob entered Sayid when he was drowned in the bloody pool...

This crossed my mind, but when he got up he had a bewildered look on his face and asked what happened. Then again John Locke played off pretty well for a while too.

Overall I am wanting to see next weeks episode already.

Hope I don't tick off anyone but I'm not writing in white. The thread title says spoilers on show night so no excuse to get mad :)

Would be interesting. Have the smoke monster as John and Jacob as Sayid.

By the way, in the portion where they are on the plane that doesn't crash, where was Boone's sister Shannon? We saw Boone, but no Shannon.

Maggie Grace got to big for Lost?

It would be more fitting if Jacob possessed Jack, the whole eternal rival best friend thing and all.
