Aren't they airing it at the same time everywhere? Sky One are airing it in the UK the same time it comes out in America - 5am Monday morning! Think that's happening in a few other European countries too.
 
I'm going to have to set my alarm for 5am to download it. Supposed to be going out on monday... guess I can always pull a sicky ;).

There is a Lost special on before the series finale Sunday.

Don't forget that several members of the cast are supposed to be on Jimmy Kimmel "Aloha to Lost" Sunday night as well.
 
EDIT: JUST KIDDING!! I went back and it was for sale again (no idea why the sold out appeared earlier) and I got one. So damn happy now, talk about a mood swing!

Definitely lost my chance to snatch the amazing Olly Moss print that just came out. All because I messed up with my credit card info. This freaking sucks so bummed right now. :(:mad:

The joy, however, would be if he won, we'd know which timeline we're in. If everything in his life ends up on the toilet, we're in the "real" timeline. But if he's amazingly happy, we're in the sideways timeline.

Let's hope he wins so we find out.

I wonder if there is any reason why ABC is running Part 1 of the two-part Season 5 finale at 2:35 am tonight (well, Sunday morning)......

I think that's decided upon locally? I checked my listings and it's not playing over here.
 
My girlfriend won't be back until Tuesday... She also missed the previous one. Should I record it, and refrain from watching it until she gets here so we watch the finale together? What would you do?

That depends on

A. Does she like you a LOT ?
B. Is she a HUGE LOST fan ?
C. Do you like sex ?
D. Are you the "master of you're own domain " ?

If you answered yes to any of the above record it and watch both with her.
If you answered no then forget about her and don't record it. :p
 
And remember, you're going to have to avoid the interwebz and everyone who might spoil it for you... which will be hard.

Hell, I'm cutting off all communication once the east coast starts the finale... can't risk getting spoiled. :p

Go ahead and watch it, because you might see, read, or hear what happened in the finale from someone on accident. then re-watch it with her.

My final predictions:
  1. In the last show, Locke succeeds in sinking the island by pulling a large stopper out of the lake near the glowing cave.
  2. The other Losties find a bunch of jetskis that were sitting on the beach in plain sight, but that nobody had noticed before. The Lost writers later claim that they had this ending in mind all along, denying that they made up an implausible twist simply because they couldn't think of another way out.
  3. The Losties ride toward the horizon as the island slowly starts to submerge. Hurley looks back and says one last "Dude!"
  4. Jack confronts Locke and tells him that smokey-ing is bad for his health.
  5. The island is going down but quick-thinking Jack momentarily stuns Locke by giving him a huge bill for medical services.
  6. Before Locke can recover, Jack uses surgical tape to stick Locke to a rock.
  7. Jack walks on water back to Los Angeles. This has nothing to do with the powers he got from Jacob and MIB's mother. He's a doctor so he already thinks he's a god.
  8. Locke is trapped on the island as it sinks, powerless, unless the island is somehow brought back to the surface again, in which case he might be able to leave the island and cause the destruction of the world as we know it, probably by turning off the Internet.
  9. The special properties of the island cause it to change location, crossing to the northern hemisphere, where it ends up underwater in the chain of Hawaiian islands.
  10. It is given the name "Loihi," which is short for LOst Is on HIatus.
  11. Over a period of 10,000 years, volcanic activity gradually brings Loihi to the surface.
  12. A new "Lost Returns" TV show begins as Loihi emerges from the water on September 22, 12004.

I think that Lockes going to blow the island up, but he going to wait until they finish filming the reality show survivor on the other side of the island.

I actually dreamt the ending a few weeks ago.

A new character appears: the devil, under the shape of a man with changing color reptile-like legs. He offers Sayid to stay on the island to protect it. The rest of the castaways leave the island on one of those steam Mississippi riverboats. The end.

Then I woke up, convinced this was actually what was gonna happen and feeling like this knowledge made me one of the most powerful individuals on earth. It took me more time than I'm proud of to clear my mind and accept it was only a dream.

As it turns out, Sayid was killed off a couple of episodes later, so that part of my theory might not be true. That, and the fact that Mississippi riverboats aren't seaworthy.

By the way, Dr. Q, can you distort the letter Q behind the drop of blood in your avatar? Unless blood has the same refraction index than air, it should appear bent. It bothers me. Thanks.
 
Well my prediction for the ending of the show is: Locke finds a way to sink the island or Jack has to sacrifice himself to sink it. While Desmond was just in time to merge the two timelines and the final timeline is the alt timeline.
