Does anyone have a screenshot of that "map" sawyer found? He mentioned something about how they were trying to build a road.

I agree that last night's episode 'felt' more like Lost than most of this season has. It was nice to see some of our old friends get some camera time. But it was still dull. And dumb. We already knew that Hurley had bad luck after he won the lottery, but did we really need to see his restaurant get hit by a meteor? Puh-leeze.

I'm also not thrilled by seeing celebrity cameos creeping in. Last week was Bai Ling and this week Cheech? Kinda takes me out of the story. I hope it's not going to be a regular thing, otherwise this show will start looking less like Lost and more like Fantasy Island.

Yeah, I'm disgruntled.

Maybe it's considered cool to be on Lost, like having your importance demonstrated by being made fun of on the Simpsons.

you are going to be even more disgruntled because... on wikipedia under her name it says...

She has most recently appeared in the show Lost as part of Jack's flashbacks. She is expected to be on for three episodes.

I've been watching the show since the beginning, but I must admit that I am also a little disgruntled. I am hoping they wrap it up next year, and that they reveal what it's all about.

I have all the same questions as everyone else: Who are "the others"? What is the Dharma initiative? Who, or what, organization funds it and what was its original purpose? Where are the DeGroots, and are they still involved somehow? What's the deal with "Doctor Marvin Candle?" (or whatever his name is)

As far as Bai Ling being on the show for a few scenes, I have no objection. :D :D :D A little eye candy every now and then is good for you.

I believe the plan is 5 seasons. There were reports after the poorly received fall "mini-season" the writers were in talks with the network to set an end date for the show.

Because they used a Three Dog Noght Song in this episode, it is officially the best episode all season.

And don't knock Cheech - that was his coolest roll since from dusk til dawn. I hope Chong is in the next episode as Kates brother.

Shambala...

At least the mentioned Libby. I hate when something happens in a show and in the next episode, they seem to forget all about it. Then it's never mentioned again. After that ep when Michael and Vincent left, they kinda dropped it, and it seemed like Hurley wasn't really that upset.

Hoping the next ep is better though.

I think we all skimmed over something, the card lady pulls out them cards that don't look too good (death etc), could she have done that on purpose? Suppose it's not that important though.

Small observation...I think the writers finally realized the whole sawyer calling people nick names was getting a little out of hand for everyone including the audience...

Haha, that is one great thing about Sawyer, whoever writes for him has a sense of humor! He called Charilie something really funny last episode, don't quite remember what it was, but I was cracking up.

Last night's episode was better than the previous week's episode, there was still markedly little accomplished. We have a new character, but beyond that, did we really learn anything more beyond the fact that "the Hostiles" were on the island long before Dharma ever got there?

This show is pretty frustrating.

I'm glad they are giving the characters more human moments. The Hurley vs. Sawyer ping-pong bet was great. Just seeing Hurley in control of a situation is an interesting twist.

Last week it was the VW Bus, this week the ping-pong challenge. Do you think the "meek shall inherit the Earth" is starting to seep into the writing?

They still haven't given us any answers here and the writers are starting to play on the viewers intelligence. C'mon, Locke pressing the "If the Hostiles have invaded please press 77". When Sayid asked Locke what happened, he replies like it was no big deal. Locke isn't that much of an idiot. Oh and they forgot to tell him the place was wired with C4?

I watched this last night on DVR. I started watching at 11:01 and finished it by 11:27. The show is now so short, they should just call it an informercial.

Talk about taking a good thing and driving it into the ground. I'll be shocked if ABC lets it finish to any reasonable conclusion.

I like the nicknames. I mean, "Grimace"? How great was that? I think the writers are just running out of ideas for nicknames and have written in a break for themselves. ;)

My downloaded version is 42 minutes. No ads, only none "show" parts are the title sequence and the end sequence, no credits.

I think I liked that episode. Might just be getting numb to it now. Feels like it's lost the entertainment value with me only watching now for the end result... sorta how I (used) to watch soaps.

They really had him on a roll with the names this week. What did he call Charlie?

At least Sawyer got back his magazines... It'll keep him busy while Kates in the jungle. That girl never rests does she.
