So....who's in the coffin? My vote is for Ben.
My vote is Sawyer, who is now evil.
And, is Jack's dad alive, or was it a doped up mistake on his part? Damn the questions!
He was dead on. It must have been a legit source, he got all of the details right, down to a lot of the dialogue. So, I never read the lostfan108 stuff - how right was he?
I think the porthole was probably too small for him to swim out of. What I'm unclear about is why Charlie locked himself in to drown, other than he believed it's what he had to do to fulfill Desmond's vision. He had already turned off the signal blocking mechanism -- why didn't he and Desmond just grab the scuba gear and vamoose out of there? Did he think it still might be important to ensure that the rest of the station didn't get flooded? Ugh.DISCOMUNICATION said:So why didn't Charlie just swim out the open portal?
No no no - I don't think that's what that meant. I think that was just an interesting twist on the typical backstory. And I for one, loved it.
...Maybe Dharma did rescue them?
He was doped up and confused? My question is why did Bearded future Jack tell the new head doctor dude to "Call my dad and if I'm drunker than he is then you can fire me"
Jack's father died before the flight....I'm so confused
Same thing when he appeared to Shannon and Syid. Freaky island voodoo. Especially giving Locke a mission that no one could possably know about... except Ben.One question down now where the hell did Walt pop up from?

The one hint I simply thought of as a props department mistake was that Jack was using a KRAZR which didn't exist in 2004.That and how does Jack still have a prescription from his dad?
Amazing twist. It seemed like the non-Others were doing too well. Then that twist!
But it is in the future. The one hint I simply thought of as a props department mistake was that Jack was using a KRAZR which didn't exist in 2004.
Ooh, great call! (no pun intended...) I was pretty gobsmacked with the flash-forward bit, thinking to myself until the very end "Gee, I didn't know they knew each other before the island..." (Duh, macmama.)The one hint I simply thought of as a props department mistake was that Jack was using a KRAZR which didn't exist in 2004.
Agreed with freaky island voodoo, as offered above. Reckon "Jacob" can assume whatever form he likes? Or the black smoke can, for that matter? One question down now where the hell did Walt pop up from?
But it is in the future.
It was an awesome finale!!
Yes, that was the hint. They lead you to believe Jacks bender is a flash back pre-crash, 2004 or earlier. Yet he's using a phone from our present time period. That's why I thought the props department might have made a mistake as I was watching the episode.
I agree, The way Jack was going on about leaving the island being a mistake. And no one showing up to the funeral. It has got to be Locke.Who's funeral? Someone could probably watch the show again and read the obit in Jack's hand before he goes in. I thought the coffin looked rather small also, but that was only during the over head shots.
My guess is Locke in the coffin.
Locke will make enemies. Jack feels guilty because he does get them off the Island and ruins Locke's life. And it seems ruins his life also.?
