Thanks. I'll be sure to take your suggestion under advisement.

EDIT: Actually, I'd like to say a little more. So, you're saying that I'm not allowed to state my opinion, and I should just blindly continue to smile foolishly and watch the show, despite what pieces of trite garbage are being shoved down my eyeholes?

Actually, he's saying that if you hate the show so much, you should just stop watching it, and stop trolling in a thread of people that ARE enjoying the show. Either:

a) You're in denial, you really do like the show, and that's why you keep watching.
b) You watch the show because you are a masochist, and get sick pleasure from doing things you don't like.
c) You're just an ******* that likes to post anonymously on a web forum because you think it's cute to be an irritating wet-blanket on other people's entertainment.

And "shoved down my eyeholes"? Seriously. WTF, mate. Change the channel, or turn off the TV, no one is forcing you to watch LOST.

edit: Just checked the post count, and noticed that over 200 posts in this thread are yours. My deepest sympathies if you have become disillusioned and no longer like the show. Having been severely let down by this latest season of 24, I understand the sense of loss when a show you care about takes a turn for the worse. However, my recommendation stands that if you are fed up with the show, you'd be better off not watching it, not getting yourself all worked up, and not thread crapping.

Well! That was actually surprisingly good. I even though of a way the flash forwards could be useful - their events on the island will impact their future selves.

That's a thought that makes me wonder. With the whole looking glass idea and the three more seasons.

Are we going to see the series played out in reverse, with flashforwards instead of flashbacks? Sort of a "how each event on the island has affected life after" type of thing. Not sure how the Boone/Shannon/Charlie/etc. scenes would work out, but the island is special like that...

What I think would be really cool (after all 6 seasons are done), is to cut up all the episodes and stitch all the events back together in chronological order. It'd lose the suspense and story-telling, but it would be fun to watch through if you'd watched all the seasons as originally produced. It'd be a fascinating perspective.

It was obviously an African American neighborhood and the producers went out of their way to portray it as one. So obviously it is either Michael, Walt, Rose or Bernard.
I've just got this far (yesterday's posts), sorry if this has been suggested since then. It's probably Michael. Everyone's still pissed at him for killing the two women whose names I've forgotten and betraying the rest of them to get off the island.

Edit: Ok, after reading to the end, I'm wrong.

if the transcript is correct, it could be Michael under a fake name, as he is the only character with a teenage son (i think).

ah i would really like to see the transcripts. it says a teenage son? micheal as far i know is the only one with a kid that age. this is LOST so,if it does say teenage son......what about carl's dad? who ever that maybe, just a thought.

Sawyer's threat bears fruit.

Last Season, after a confrontation with bearded Tom, Sawyer said, "You and me ain't through, Zeke."

Good to see Sawyer come through on his threat!

But why should I care? This damn show has dragged on long enough. Let's get some REAL resolution going!
Do you also buy video games, if for the only purpose to look up cheat codes on the internet and finish the game without any actual work to feel a sense of accomplishment?

Sometimes it's far more fun to be given hints so we can try to contemplate the possibilities than to be handed the answers on a silver platter. ...It's really just a shame that you can't enjoy this as well.

I have no doubt that every mystery will be answered by the end of the series. Just be patient, and enjoy the show in the meantime. ;) :)

I think that these new flash forwards are going to answer a lot of questions in the short term. Mostly "who will survive", just watch out people who don't get flashes! And I like that. We're being trickled answers now. Just gotta wait till series 4 starts to find out another big one (who are the boat people?).

All the talk about Jack's Pop still alive has made me think. At first I was, NO WAY... Jack went to AU to get his Pops body and it was on the Plane. And on 'The Answers' you see Jack zipping his Pops body in a bag.

But that means nothing on this Island! People heal, die, become fertile, clairvoyant and become anything or nothing. It is all about the Island!

Ethics Island

But the question is: How has the Island changed each person? The opposite? It's a long list. But Locke, Rose, and Ben(who now can control everyone but abused as a child[I know that is gonna be challenged, but his father was a ass]) are obvious and now they want to stay because it has worked in their favor, but Charlie. He had never found true love until Claire but had to sacrifice for it. He died satisfied.

So Jack's father might have been reincarnated or just a Zombie(hehe)? I still think it was a **** up, drunk and self medicated Jack ranting and he is still seeing his Pop off the Island. Visions from beyond.

Later we will figure out how the Island does it.

My theory: Penelopes father, rich mother F@#ker, keeping Desmond away. It is all connecting to Penelope and her dad.

^ No person on the island had a good relationship with their father.
Hurley, Ben, Locke, Jack, Kate

The only 2 that come to mind are Sawyer and Charlie who's fathers both died (Though not sure about Charlie. Maybe it was just his mother?)

In case anyone doesn't read digg or didn't see this story, E! Online did an interview with one of the producers of LOST and was discussing why they killed Charlie and a little True/False session regarding the future of LOST.

Just thought it'd be worth postin' here :)

After watching the last two episodes I believe there is defiantly a FATE element to the resolution.

The boat are the enemy of DHARMA.

Jacks fate to leave the island is to be a drunk.

The flash forward had a Heroes feel to it don't you think?

I don't know if this has already been posted here but this is the best Lost theory I've read so far and may actually be what's going on with that Island.

Check it out, read it with an open mind and tell me what you think :)

I haven't found a single fact about the show that contradicts this theory, and usually I'm very skeptical.
Just though I'd share it with you guys.

i read that and wow! the death of charlie is still hitting pretty hard. on the crying and the drinking that night was bad. it was bad enough charlie dies, but at one point siad and jin are dead too. just couldn't take it hahahaha. still don't know if i'm going to watch anymore. i have been saying from the start, they kill charlie i'm done. now i'm so sure.

yes, FATE and Free Will.

I think we'll come to see Jack's Flash Forward as only one of several possible futures. Which one he ultimately gets will come down to the decisions he makes on the island.

I know you've all been waiting for my ideas and opinions. Right?

Silly stuff:

* Somebody was in a coffin. Nobody cares about this person. It's not a woman. The coffin is small. It's a black neighborhood. I think I know which character this matches: the smoke monster!

* In the flash forward, Jack and Kate have something important in common. Both have a letter "Q" in their license plate!

Questions:

* Damon Lindelof says Ben is not Alex's biological father. Do we know who her father is?

* In a flashback, Charlie rescued a woman from a mugger. Has that woman been elsewhere in the plot? If not, maybe she will be.

Theories:

* Why was Kate not in jail in the flash forward? My guess is that she either served (minimal) time or was found innocent.

* It was very satisfying to have most of the bad guys bite the dust. So what's going to happen next season without them? I think we'll find out that the people on "not Penny's boat" are the new enemy (as Ben tried to warn them). Jack and the Losties will spend next season running, hiding, and fighting back against these new enemies, and perhaps Ben will join the Losties' resistance movement and become one of the good guys!

Ok, number one. The woman that Charlie saved in the flashback is Nadia. She appeared in Sayid's flashback, she's the girl he once tried to free in Iraq.

Two, the same way that the name on the Obituary is John Latham I'm guessing that, after they get of the island, DHARMA pays the Losties to keep quiet about everything that happened and happens there (hence Jack saying to Kate "I'm sick of lying") and gave new identities to those who needed. That's why I think that it's Ben on the coffin, the fact that it is a black neighbourghood doesn't say anything to me, it's just a throw-off like Jack mentioning his father.

Three, yes, I would like a comeback of the Season 1 style. Fear, paranoia, the unknown. I guess that after we met who the Others really were we kind lost our fear for them the same way the Losties have, inside we all thought they would be wild cannibals, zombies or an army of Freddy Kruegers, not some nerds living in a peaceful community! The new guys better crap the s*** out of the Losties...

Ben joining the "resistance"? ehhhhhhhhh.. ok :D he sure can manipulate his way through.

Let's not forget that she also used John Locke as a building inspector in California. I'm thinking that she might be in the employ of Dharma and one of their tools for manipulating some of the survivors to be on that particular plane.

On a recent trip I had a chance to catch up on some magazines and read an article in an Entertainment Weekly where the creators confirmed that the plane would not have crashed if Desmond had hit the switch. I wonder if the plane was intentionally diverted by Dharma (fake crash already planned) and the people on the flight were chosen by Dharma as part of a crew to take back the island. Chosen partially for their personalities, to butt heads with the Others. We've got a doctor, some ex-military, a couple of fugitives, etc. The kids, might have been innocent passengers, or maybe they had been researched (like Walt) and were suspected of having special powers, and were going to be trained to counter Jacob. The events may have been manipulated to get those people on the plane so they could use them to build/bolster their island invasion team. But then the plane crashed and things went to heck...
