From what I understand, the full explanation is not supposed to come until the very last episode. That said, it better be one long-a$$ episode!!!

its not usually the length, because sometimes the entire ***** episode is just the flashbacks. it really has to do with the flashback/island content ratio, and then when you get to the island content, its all about the action.asphalt-proof said:

What show is on after Lost? My TV guide says Alias follows Lost on ABC, but abc.com says that Invasion follows Lost.

Well, if Season 1 failed as miserably as they expected, they were planning on shortening it so that the viewers did leave with an ending. So, just remember, they could've shortened this show to less than a season's worth of TV instead of drawing it out like they are.
Lost is sorta disappointing me. None of the big questions have really been answered. But, I guess that's half the fun. If you get really into the Halo story, for example, there are tons and tons of things you can analyze just like Lost.
