I can see her in a coma for a few weeks and Mike anxiously trying to get the revolt together before she wakes and spills the beans. I also think Libby was carying a cast iron frying pan under the blanket like in the old Little Rascals shows.
Heh... the pool of blood spreading from her wasn't exactly small though. I agree about the coma angle though... if her new show isn't picked up, I could see her in a coma for the rest of this season and somehow making it back a few episodes into season 3.

They (apparently) killed a couple of the main female characters on Lost, and they (apparently) killed off a couple of main female characters on Alias the same night.

Is J.J. Abrams on a rampage? How many women will he do away with in Mission: Impossible III?

From what I just read in a scathing review ("If androids could act, they'd want to be in this movie.").. he smokes his fair share. Maybe he just got a divorce?

My theory

My theory is that the whole Island is an experiment in progress.

The guys that are behind Dharma and the hatch are somehow observing how two groups of people resond to the crazy stimuli that the island offers.

one group being the others, and the other group being the losties

what happens when you pit two groups of people together on an island and throw all kinds of crazy stuff at them?

Let's watch and find out.

That's my theory anyway.

but, that doesn't explain the "magic" properties the island holds like how Locke can walk and the black mist thing...maybe that was what the fortune teller was talking about places that "heal" and magnatism....and the hatch does have that big magnet in it...

but, hey it's just a theory

This is so minor that it's hardly worth mentioning. But that never stopped me before! :D

I noticed that one page on the Drive Shaft Fan Site (halfway down the Discography page) shows a vinyl version of one of their records and says
Out of Time Single
(released February 2002)
Official Artwork: Lost
Perhaps "Out of Time" refers to the 108-minute timer. And "Lost" might just refer to "Lost"!

Well.. http://www.thehansofoundation.org is VERY much updated from the last time I went there.
Has anyone really explored the depths of this (new to me) site?

Most interesting.. please go to the "sign up for the newsletter" section..

And you "chat" with "Persephone" the (sometime) goddess of the underworld.
More hints at the Lost folks being somewhere between Heaven and Hell? Or is it just a red herring? Probably.

I don't know what the password is.. but it's at most 15 characters.

The password is "breaking strain"..

Also, no one has reported (in this thread) the new "games" going on..

Hey Doctor Q... what do you make of this?:

You're the (number) man!

One of my co-workers has an interesting new theory. He parsed The Hanso Foundation website and noticed that two of the dates on pictures are October 28 (2003 for the pic of Alovar Hanso, 2001 for the Aurora Borealis). On a whim he decided to research the date and found The Philadelphia Experiment supposedly took place on October 28th.

Some interesting parallels with trying to make things invisible, people getting sick, insanity, and teleportation.

He supposedly posted it on another message board, and will provide the link as soon as I can find it.

atszyman, this is a theory that's been thrown around quite a bit on losttv-form.com. I stopped keeping track a while ago because it seemed so bunk... but this seems significant. it also could just be the writers following the rumor sites and trying to throw people off...

The Hanso Foundation was included in the "Special Thanks To" list in the end credits of Mission: Impossible III.

No way! It's so cool how they're making it all seem so real.

People also talk about things on lost like they were real places or companies. Like in French when my teacher needed an airline for an example she used Oceanic Air.

Another little concoction of a theory that I think has already been mentioned.
What if the island is a new planet being created by the Hanso Foundation? Something on their site stood out. "Reaching out to a better tomorrow".
Maybe they're inhabiting a new dimension or world where they haven't quite worked out the bugs yet *smoke monsters, polar bears etc*.

Maybe it's a little like the Cube series. where these people were sort of tricked into going there, but 'signing their names' sort of thing. under drugs or hypnosis. basically everythings legal and they're explorers to this new world. Only it went wrong and the plane crashed. So there is no contact with anyone just yet.

Which doesn't play on the healing properties, the shaman guy saying "theres a place on this planet for everyone", or similar. Nevermind me.

I'm guessing there will be more questions seeing that the title of this episode is "?"

I dunno, I'm a fan of answers but I love when more questions are asked. Just gets me thinking on something other than coursework. a good break.

100th hospital in a developing country

On the site, I did the register thing, which does a melt down, but check out the map of the world wide wellness and development program.

It has a marker on the coast of Africa.

Too funny. The web site is pretty elaborate.

I just noticed that Joop is AKA experiment 626. If your a kid or have kids, you know that Stitch from Lilo and Stitch is experiment 626 and they are in Hawaii... LOL

I knew it

Ana Lucia is dead... Libby's alive (but gravely injured, obviously). The look on Michael's face when Libby coughed up blood was priceless.
I knew it! I called it last week.... then quickly changed my mind, but I said Libby wouldn't die.

Soon as Lost is over I'll be turning it on, then watching invasion after ;) I hate watching ads, Thank you Tivo!

But you might miss anohter fake Dharma Initiative ad.

Anyone ever notice whenever the dead appear they look weird. Like they were composited into the shot even though there is nothing special going on in the foreground or background.

Was that Peter Jackson?:p 1980?

Holy crap, there's another hatch right underneath the drug smugglers' plane. And at the bottom... the Architect!

Actually, there's a videotape... but Dr. Marvin Candle called himself by another name this time. The Pearl (station 5) is monitoring all of the other stations, including the Swan... and "Dr. Candle" said that the people at the other stations believe their task to be of the utmost importance.

In other words, it looks like the 108 minute countdown is, as many have speculated, a bunch of Skinner rat BS.
