Yeah, what the hell are they all staring at? It's awfully bright. It better not turn out to be the sunset.
 
i think it's an ad for Sprite, did anyone notice that the Hanso "fake" ad was "paid for by Sprite"? and on that sublymonal website the the heading is subLYMONal, as in "lemon". the word is "obey" as in "obey your thirst".


the site has too much traffic to go any further, so i can't be sure, but that's my theory.

If you click under the sublymonal message unlocked, it brings you to the hanso site. Unfortunately, Flash is acting up and I'm using IE.

I believe the entire show is the experiment. And I'm not talking about the old Hanzo one Lock was disappointed to discover or the larger one that the whole island is. And you know all of the characters were hand picked long before they ever got on the plane. No I'm talking about "the show". Watch this show, post on this forum, read this book, go to this site, ask questions, push the button. We, the viewers, are the rats in the maze.

MI:III credits

Didn't bother seeing MI:III this weekend. Might see it when it comes out on DVD. Anyone stick around till the end of the credits? Did "The Hanso Foundation" really appeared in the special thanks section of the credits?

Man you beat me to it.

I went to www.lymon.com since the title of the sublymonal page was subLYMONal

caught the "paid for by sprite ®" in the hanso commercial

the "obey" your thirst convinced me it wasn't just a coincidence

and the "Proof" that the Sprite site is going to be revealed in June, after the season finale will have aired I'm guessing.

I'm gonna feel so cheap if Lost was just the most elaborate commercial ever conceived.
 
There was a paid for by in the last ad, but I couldn't read it. Is it posted anywhere who paid for the ad?

** Updated ** OK, searched google and found "paid for by ABC Corporation"

I guess it was their plug for advertising. There was a web stat counter looking at the flash plugin for this deal. ABC must be getting paid by the click...

A little dissapointing...

OK,

Finally got through to the site. A small magnetic cloud like on the island circles around. It looks like it loading a flash player movie, but the percentage are just the hatch numbers...

4% 15% 16% 23% 42%

I thought the damn thing was busy though.

One thing...

I don't ever look at flash (intentionally), but I right clicked (OK, I still use windows) and the property box poped up and it had checkboxes to allow the hanso foundation access to your microphone and video.

My PC laptop doesn't have either, but I wondered what would happen if you gave it access on the Mac???

Someone else can let us know, I'm going to bed...

Anyone else getting a strange text box in the middle of Dr. Tomas Werner Mittlewerk's bio page?

By tabbing around I also found a small box in the lower left that moves the lighting behind the flash pane. Not sure if it does anything else... yet.

Can someone recap the last five minutes with Libby in the bed, our vcr did not tape it all, and it cut off before she said anything!!!!!!!!!!!

I forget the details (I was surfing on MR during the previews, of course), but Michael was in a tent and told Walt was outside, many of the people on the beach see some bright light or some such "amazing" sight, the bearded "other" was in a scene, and a few other things. Sorry... drawing a blank on the rest.

Need to get Tivo. Noticed tonight that our vcr clock is about 5 mins off. Will fix it for next week. Man was that frustrating.

If I remember correctly there was a shot of "Zeke" throwing something and Michael falling down (seems kind of like a bola). Shots of the survivors getting ready for battle, asking Micheal how long it will take to get there. A scene where Michael says "I'm not even sure if Walt's alive" and a woman "other" replying "he's right outsite the door."

Sayid makes a mention of how he thinks Michael has been compromised. Theres a shot of Michael getting a medical shot and it looked like the person administering the shot was the same guy who handed Eko the fake papers (I could be wrong but there are similarities).

I think the words "Unbelievable" and "Unexpected" flash on the screen durring it as well.

I personally don't think Sprite has anything to do with it other than they paid for the air time of the fake commecial and got Lymon.com connected with them...

There was also a phone # given during the commercial... anybody call it?
 
*gasp*

We better get a lot of answers before the end of the season or it's gonna drive me crazy all summer long.

That whole viewing was so creepy. It had such an eerie feeling to it. Next week looks outstanding too, I can't wait to see what happens when they go to the "others" camp.
