I just had a thought. I'm going to take a WILD guess and say that in the previews, when everyone is looking at something in amazement, its a plane crash. SHABAM! Never saw that coming! And with that...

Farewell and adeau.

Man, Michael is behaving like a little bitch tonight... I've never heard so much shouting and pouting about "it's gotta be this way" and "we're doing it my way".

For what he did to Libby and Ana Lucia, I hope he dies a painful, nasty death.

well, now you know why.. i still agree with you though.

From the flashes of the finale we can see Lock destroys the computer in the hatch and Echo gets trapped behind the blast doors. I think when Lock was yelling "None of this is real!" He was yelling at Desmond.

I'm not even going to bother going to the new site featured in the Hanso Foundation ad. It said ©Jeep in the lower lefthand corner at the beginning. I am not playing their games anymore.

So no one asked Michael to kill anyone. He thoght that up on his own? That makes it much worse.

he only killed libby because she showed up, and he only killed ana because she was there and he couldn't have her seeing henry escape by his hand. i don't think he maliciously killed anyone, in his somewhat demented mind it was just necessary.

Michael's choice

How was he going to get these specific people to go with him? I don't doubt that Libby was an accident, but he was desprate to get Walt back and had to think of something fast. What have any of them personally got against the Others to make them abandon reason and blindly seek revenge? Yes they took Walt. And Jack does seem tired of being screwed with. But they haven't personally run into real trouble with the others since Ethan.

Still, the point is he killed two unarmed people in cold blood. The Others (Miss Klugh, particularly) must've known that he wouldn't just be able to walk out of the hatch with Henry AND convince the other 4 to return with him to the Others' encampment, so they're just as responsible as Michael is for Libby and Ana Lucia.

Again, I hope Michael dies slowly and painfully... and I hope Hugo's the one to do it.

I think the most important development this season is not the revelation of the Dharma/Hanso experiment, but the question of morality. By Henry's logic Locke is a "good person" and Anna Lucia wasn't. You can actually split the cast right down the middle with who's a sinner and who's a saint. It's intreseting that the list of people they wanted contained 2 sinners (Kate and Sawyer) and 2 Saints (Jack and Hugo?). There is also almost no doubt now the Walt really does have psychic abilities and that everyone who survived the crash was hand picked for the experiment.

The closed captioning (I usually watch TV shows with it on, even though my hearing is fine) clearly said "Klugh".

in that case, you'd be much more accurate than my hearing :)

well if you play around with the jeep site long enough you can find this nifty little scene at the end of what would appear to be an ancient Jeep commercial. Having a little trouble making out what it actually says.

Looks to me like it says "echo me other" something.

I thought there were a lot of things n this episode that were really predictable. It was kind of obvious that Michael was told to bring back certain people to have his son. I had guessed that from the beginning, it was very obvious the way he kept insisting on those people only coming.

Also when Walt said "they're pretending" I think what he means is that their whole 'other' camp setup is fake. I think they're all kind of actors or something. I remember in an earlier episode Kate found a locker filled with fake beards and actors glue. And they made a point of saying actors glue rather than just glue. Just an idea though.

I find it funny that Rouseau's daughter used to be on Malcolm in the Middle.. she had big boobs and a scratchy voice back then.

This is what you get on www.letyourcompassguideyou.com if you play around with the compass for a while.

Edit: by the way, the numbers in brackets are the tan of 1/2 the angle they are beside.

Edit 2: Except the tan of 45˚ isn't 0.

I find it interesting that Michael is once again a bad guy, but with a reason. Remember the very beginning of the show? We thought he was a deadbeat dad with no interest in his son (bad person), then learned that he simply hadn't been able to keep Walt (good person). Then he wasn't getting with Walt (not a great dad) but trying (good dad). Then he came back and killed two Losties and let Henry go (very bad person). Now he's apparently doing the others' bidding, but it's because he's being blackmailed with Walt's freedom (so-so bad person). Or is he?

A lady named Ms. Clue? Perhaps that's a clue! :D

I wonder what we're supposed to do here?

I decoded the X-IMAP string found here and got "The Mouth Piece".

I thought I was the only one thinking that.

She reminds me a lot of this girl I knew in High School.

Lost gets more interesting as the show goes on. Does anyone know when season 3 starts for lost?

yes it starts in early september till late october (no breaks)

then it takes a very long break :(

then it restarts in february tillthe seson end next may (once again no breaks during that run)

I guess they are doing that so it doesnt screw up the flow of the story.

The first third of the season in on with no rerun in between then...

You get THIRTEEN FRIGGIN' WEEKS until a new episode.

As much as that sucks I like it alot better than right after January with a new episode and then two reruns right after. Really screwed up what was going on with me.

Yeah, it's funny to hear people complain "I hate reruns, no more reruns!" Except, the show only has 26 episodes or so in a season. ("24" has 24, obviously.)

So you can go with the "we're gonna run consecutive episodes all the way through the season" option, like "24" does... but that means you go 28 weeks (or more, depending on whether two episodes air in a single night), 7 whole months, between seasons.

Or, you can do runs of new episodes, with reruns or other shows airing during the gaps.

Personally, with the advent of DVRs, I don't really care how they do it. My DVRs record the show and I watch it when it's a new episode.

That's why we start so far behind you guys in our seasons. We run them consecutively, very rarely are any reruns played unless something really big is on another network and the others know they aren't going to get the ratings - while the Commonwealth Games were on Channel 9, channels 7 and 10 reran Prison Break and House/NCIS respectively until the games were over and the ratings war began anew.

Next week's episode is the one after "The Long Con" here.

You forgot the proper solution. Film 52 new episodes a year!
