It's not the rose gold color that bothers me. It's the fact that the rose gold and white are put up against each other and that looks fugly IMO. I think the only color that looks good with the white, is sliver (which I did end up getting for my 6s+ for the first time since the 4s).

Now, if Apple did a Gold Space Grey, or Rose Gold Space Grey, now we'd be talking!

Or it looks like this. I guess it is what you want it to be when you own it, lol. This ring looks nothing like that watch but it DOES resemble the phone. Neither does the watch compared to his watch below.

That is pink gold Made for women. Look up a mans Rolex sky dweller in rose gold for the male tone.

Came back from the cottage since I left Friday LOLOL Wow went to page 8.

Guys just enjoy the god damn phone and colour. If you don't like it, then it's all good too.

Rose gold it is Not! Perhaps we have a new colored dress debate or as Yoda says there is no Rose gold try, only do or do not.

The tone around the home button is exactly the color I wish the phone looked like in all lighting. I like the color in certain lighting but it can be too pink for me in direct sunlight. Torn on rose gold.

That would be a sharp color (and closer to true rose gold), though perhaps it wouldn't translate well to anodized aluminum.

Googled rose gold watches for men and this came up...color shades reflect my MK watch.

I don't know how many times it's been said in this thread (I've said it twice) but real rose gold differs in colour to quite an extent.

One last time... It can be 50% copper and 50% gold giving it a rich coppery colour much like the MK homage. It can also have up to 15% zinc or tin which are white metals and this in turn can reduce the pink colour considerably. Therefore rose gold is not one shade.

A Michael Kors watch with a rose gold imitation coating is not a realistic benchmark for determining if other products have the correct shade to be classified as rose gold I am afraid.

I don't care what you call it. But I love it. I also love the way it changes appearance depending on the lighting.

guys, it's a good pink..it's not that girly girly pink.. trust me.. i don't know why people are hating so much...

i have no problem rocking pink.. my closet is full off different shades of pink dress shirts.. and polos..

But honestly it's not a serious pink on the phone.. oh well.. everyone has their own preference i guess.

Currently awaiting my Rose Gold, too! I completely agree with having no problem rocking pink. Who cares?!

Tossed mine in a case, just got it more out of curiosity :)

I have the silver and after putting the Apple leather case on it could be any color under there. For the record I like the rose gold phone. Not for me, but after seeing it in person I think it is very nice looking - was going to say pretty but that sounds too feminine.

I love the Touch ID ring of the Rose Gold so much that I can overlook my dislike for the pink-pink color that the body turns in bright light. I have it in a case, so all I really see is the Touch ID ring and the ring around the camera lens anyway, so no biggie. :)

Just for the hell of it, I grabbed a subtle salmon pink polo out of the laundry and laid the phone on it. This was the result. I have no clue how people are seeing more pink than gold in this phone. We must perceive color very differently. To me, it looks like the standard gold with a slight coppery pink cast.

If you hadn't said that was the rose gold, I would have thought that it was the gold, without a doubt.

Not a bad color and if you like it go for it. I personally do not care for the white front so I will pass but to me and a lot of other people it looks pink. Found this photo online giving a comparison.

That photo is so unrealistic. I've never once seen my phone appear anything like that shade in the 4 days I've owned it. I will admit there have been a couple occasions where I did see the pink, but under 90% of lighting conditions (to me) it looks very much like copper or rose gold, and not pink at all.

When it has appeared pink (It's usually in the car for some reason. I have a deep navy blue interior and bright yellow seat belts so it's an interesting environment) It's more of a dull dusty rose than a bright pink like the photo above. Absolutely nothing like that from my experience so far.

I'll second that. I have yet to see my IPhone look that pink. I wouldn't mind if it were that pink, but it's not. It's always got a coppery golden hue.

So I work with middle schoolers and they asked me about my new phone showed it off and not one of them had anything negative to say about the Rose Gold color. If anyone has worked with middle school children they certainly aren't ones to hold back their opinion on things so I took that as a good sign haha.
