Lucky Customer Gets New Apple Watch Ultra Two Days Early

I think it's no coincidence that Jony Ive had to publicly state that his relationship with Apple had ended before this came out.

I notice no one is here yet to ask whether this person is an extreme athlete, since, you know, ordinary people can't buy this watch because they want it. Maybe they're charging their Garmins.
Don’t blame him. I know I’ll get piled on for saying it, but I think that Apple Watch Ultra is ultra fugly. Jony would’ve never allowed something that clunky looking to see the light of day outside Apple’s walls.

Oh I’m sure 90% of buyers aren’t even in the sport/outdoorsy demo, they wither bought it for battery life or ‘because most expensive model’.
Did they need to make this watch so ugly to be rugged? Geez.

You clearly don’t understand Jony Ives design principles. Maybe watch his latest interview and you will learn about what he likes.
I also see the pictures included change with the band. Another earlier arrival had a picture of open ocean waves for the Ocean band. Trail Loop orders seemed to be the most delayed and rare - so don't know what picture comes with that...I supposed a forest or desert running scene.
The Trail bands were showing 10/7 as soon as orders opened, it's why I grabbed an Ocean band instead. My guess is some sort of manufacturing issue.
I was supposed to be getting mine on launch day, but then EE decided to accidentally cancel my order and processed a refund which meant I had to find someone to borrow the £190 upfront fee from and re-order it which has now pushed my delivery date back (according to EE) 28 days!
Or maybe just for the more rugged looks. Or for the bigger display. Not that it matters what others spend their money on.
If they accidentally cancelled it, and if you can prove that they did, then they should be the ones on the hook for the upfront fee to reorder. That wasn't your fault for them cancelling your order.

It seems that 80% of the people who post on these forums now are all Samsung fan boys who have to complain about Apple products because theres nothing that good, original or interesting to say about Samsungs garbage? 😂
That wasn't the problem though, I got the upfront fee easy enough, but the order was delayed and I still have to wait a month longer for it.
I'm getting it for the longer battery life
