I wonder if Apple and the delivery company deliberately do this to hype up the product more? They got it early so they feel special and are more likely to give it a positive rating
Well, I suppose that would be an interesting strategy, but I think it's just some kind of communication hiccup in the delivery company.

Then again, if they did do it on purpose, Apple wouldn't admit it.

I'm still on the fence about the ultra. I want to know what's inside before making a decision to upgrade from my 7. Since the 7 and 8 use the same chip as the 6, if the Ultra is using the same chip as well, I'll wait for the Ultra 2.

It’s nice to see all the “it’s ugly” comments here. Jony Ive is gone so get ready for more “ugly” in the future and all I have to say is good riddance 🤣

Pairs well with the Milanese Loop? What next? Wearing the "Ultra" with a thin gold chain while "toughing" it out in the wilderness? This reminds me of those luxury SUVs: a combination of high class desie wrapped in pretend toughness. That's the kind of SUV that will never see mud and if any mud is on the body of the vehicle, the owner will burst into tears.

LOL.
Not all people are constantly engaged in strenuous activities. Some people like to wear their everyday watch with formal wear for weddings, church functions, funerals, music performances, etc. It doesn't hurt to have options aside from bright orange with dirt from your adventures in such settings. The real high class side would be having several watches, one for each occasion. Apple doesn't release watch band sales info (that I know of) but this customization is clearly very important to users.

You need a strong forearm for that monstrosity.

Why would you drive an SUV in the mud? Just to do it? That makes zero sense.
Just trying to say any splash or dings would make 'em cry ;-) You don't have to drive specifically on mud-filled road. Mud arises on rain soaked roads too :)

Lucky customers. Got it yesterday but didn’t open till today.

Shoot. When I wasn’t being active, I was planning on using my stainless steel band. Should I not? You sure seems dialed in on telling people how to use their watch.

Nah, I'm just probing to get some kicks. And, making some observations ;-) Don't take it too seriously.

Huh? Not sure what you mean without context

You said “wicked cool,” just wondering if that’s because you’re from the New England area of US. That’s a common phrase on the east coast that isn’t really heard anywhere else…that I’ve ever seen anyway.

This comment had to come and yet I can't help but crack up every time. I'm so childish every time I read/hear this! 🤣
What's fun is having conversations with people in Chinese diplomatic circles. The reaction can be quite energetic when you reply to them, "That's what Xi said."

Why do they have to pretend? Why can't they buy the watch because they like it?
They can, but will be weird to see a homer running around with a watch that was primarily build for "extreme" sports.
When i see this, i don't know if i should laugh or show pity.
