Are those pictures of the white actually the white carbon fiber? I guess it may be the distance of the photos but I can't see the pattern. They just look like standard white. Even on the website it looks that way.

EDIT: Nevermind. I didn't read everything. They are the white carbon -- just hard to see the texture in the pics.

i recently ordered some transparent spectra wraps however when applied they didnt look too good. i emailed them and got some replacements, no hassle.

yea one per email account. i just set up another and used it again no problems.

just ordered 5 teksure skins for the back only.

has anyone got the back teksure wrap without the apple logo cut out, and applied one of the stickers that come with the spectra wraps? i want to know how well they stick to the material as i wish to stick one on the back skin.

YES! it's gawdawful! i put it on and didn't like the way it lookes (you could see the fingerprints as you HAVE to touch it to install it and i had ordered clear) so i took the garbage off and it left a hot MESS on my brand new iphone!

STAY AWAY unless you plan to leave these things on forever!

U use it to remove nail polish, not the industrial paint remover kind haha. Rubbing alcohol works too.

really? uh oh, going to test it today see if when i remove it its left a residue!

edit: christ, just taken the bottom one off and its left a horrible sticky residue on it. not good. it rubs off but takes a while. dont think i will be using these again.

You're extremely... colorful. Clear is the only color that leaves residue. Thats been stated on this thread. If You want clear I recommend a wrapsol or sgp crystal. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser I've heard also works well.

Can someone tell us how close the metal teksure backing is to the original silver of the stainless steel? Or the back of an ipad? Or a mbp?

Not true. I'm removing residue from the Metallic Gold I put on last night as I type this. I'd imagine Metallic Silver does the same.

Just a thought Pez, clear screen/back protectors sound really hard to pull off. Just looking through the iphone PS, SGP, Zagg, Wrapsol, etc forums show people agonizing over tiny imperfections of trapped lint, dust, etc.

The Macrumors crowd seem to be perfectionists.

nice pics, did you stick the apple logo decal on the back or is it cut out? cant really tell. if its stuck on, how solid does it feel? not likely to peel off or anything?
