nice pics, did you stick the apple logo decal on the back or is it cut out? cant really tell. if its stuck on, how solid does it feel? not likely to peel off or anything?

It's a cutout with a silver logo from LuckyLabs. Feels great. And it won't peel. Believe me, I took it off because my wife wants it on her phone and it stuck on. Now I'm have a black carbon back and white carbon sides. It looks sick also.

I have to say that Steve at theluckylabs does the best job of customer service that I've seen in a long time. I had a problem with my first order and he sent out new product that arrived in 2 days ... No charge. And now he responds to a request by macrumors people for a coupon code --- for 50 percent off !!

I like your stuff, Steve, and I hope you continue to surprise us with great products in the future.

I second that. Steve gives the best customer service ever. Prompt replies to emails. All my apple products have some "lucky labs" on them. Haha! Love it.

Alright, so I just removed my spectra wrap and these glue n residue are every where on the antenna bands. Whats the best way of removing it? I've tried rubbing alcohol and it's no good, I've also tried using the old wrap to remove it, it doesnt really work either. Someone said mr.clean magic eraser? Help pls, it's sticky and it's annoying.

In defense of the clear wrap, you just need to give it time to set. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to this kind of stuff and spent a lot of time peeling back, aligning, re-lifting and so on to get it just right. Each time I did this I watched in horror as the adhesive side became visible through the transparent side at the lift crease point. My fingerprints smudged it in a few places too. It looked so bad I almost gave up...

Lo and behold after a few days the blemishes started to dissolve away. I think the heat from daily use helps to blend everything back to transparency. It probably took at least a week but my wrap looks PERFECT now.

The wrapsol, SGP, BSE side skins are a joke because they come in something like 7 separate pieces. The Lucky Labs side wrap is much more seamless from its 3 piece design. My only gripe is that the 2 side pieces are a tad short at the bottom end. What's up with that?!

just ordered some more spectra wraps.

man i have ordered loads from these guys haha

VERY BIG PROBLEM!

I received a press pass and got into the latest press conference. I started showing off my Lucky Labs Carbon Fiber and a guy walks up really rudely and asked if I made that. I explained it's a company off Etsy and advised me he was head of Apple's legal team and was VERY MAD about the Apple Logo Cutout in the skin. I told him it's not my problem.

Wouldn't worry. I think they have bigger issues than to chase somebody over an apple decal. It's no different than some of the cases on eBay which have a cut out to show the apple logo on the back of the phone.

he actually said to you 'I VERY MAD about that apple logo'?
he must have looked a right idiot saying that, i would have laughed in his face and told him to calm down

i don't think that leaving it on longer is the solution.... mine was on for a couple of weeks or more before i removed it..... and that was to install a different side... which is gorgeous! AND there's no fingerprints and crap under my current side wraps! AND my current side wrap actually goes over the black area we aren't supposed to touch rather than leaving it exposed... so it's a second level of protection with my bumper.... sorry... but this gurl thinks lucky labs kinda stinx... or at least the transperent version....

Care to post some pics? Would be interested to compare.

so enough lurking the iphone accessories subforum.

has anyone applied the spectra sides or the CF back over a zagg maximum protector? If so what were your results?

Hi,

What's the easiest way to remove the decal wraps? Also, is it possible to reuse it once it has been removed?

Thanks

I have to say that the turnaround from Lucky Labs is awesome. Placed an order for a handful of things around midnight last night and not even 12 hours later got a shipping notice. This is the second time I've bought from them and I've been very impressed both times.

you have to create an account, and i believe its on step 2 or 3 of the checkout under something like redeem code.

mine :).

id like it if they could have the teksure skin for the front, however have it in one piece also going down the sides. Would be able to have a completely white iPhone 4 then!

Very nice! Did you put the Apple logo sticker on before the teksure or after?

its stuck on top of the teksure, i didnt want to get one with the cutouts. I put it on after i put the back on! Its now red, got bored of the black!

Out of curiosity, do the coloured (not transparent) wraps leave residue? I was under the impression that this only applied to the transparent ones. Also on the matter of residue, if I purchase the non-cut edition, will the glue leave a trace on sim card slot after removal. I was worried the residue will stick in the gap.

Hope someone can clear this up for me. Thanks.
