I had a colored one on for 2-3 weeks, it did leave a lot of glue on the phone when I removed it. I didn't try to get all of it off, I just put a different color wrap on over it thinking it would just leave glue on again anyway.

Since someone from Lucky Labs was posting on here, I would like to hear suggestions to remove the glue, and thoughts on keeping it from happening. I was tempted to order some different ones that I heard come off clean, iglowphone or something like that.

Also, anyone make these for the iPad?

got a black carbon skin and some spectra wraps in friday, they look and feel better then the pictures can convey. i was wary on buying the cf back and looked at all the other offerings and decided on LL's. happy i did

Ipod touch 4G

LuckyLabs,
I like your products for the IP4 so much, that i have to ask can you guys start making products for the new ipod Touch so my daughter can experience your products and great customer service also.

Thanks

I ordered my wraps on Tuesday. My brother ordered his wraps on Wednesday. His order arrived on Saturday. Still waiting for mine. Emailed Saturday and still no response. (understandable since it was the weekend.)

If I was to get a side graphic and wanted to remove it at a later date I have some questions:

a) does it cover the infamous antenna section
b) does it leave a tacky residue afterwards?

Umm I wasn't kidding. But yeah got a response and I have to first say that the customer service is awesome. New wraps sent out. Actually got a delivery confirmation before the response email. Can't wait to get these. They will be my 3rd order from them in a week.

I want to order more wraps but sucks that the coupon could be only used once.

Just wanted to make a quick post regarding The Lucky Labs ridiculously awesome customer service.

I emailed their support address on Friday Sept 10th regarding a skin that I received that didn't fit properly. I received a very quick response from Steve at Lucky Labs letting me know that they would be sending a replacement skin out ASAP. To my surprise, when I checked the mail today the replacement had already arrived and fits perfectly.

To anyone who is on the fence between an SGP skin (or any other brand for that matter) and The Lucky Labs... Lucky Labs is the way to go!! Both for the quality of their product as well as their great customer service!

Brushed Metal coloring

Guys, just a head's up.

I've ordered the side decals in the brushed metal teksure.
The website coloring does not do it justice. In person, it's a nicely toned silver, comparable to the silver on the Moshi trackguards. The texture of the teksure decal is fantastic! I can't leave fingerprints on it, even if I tried. It is a little easier to grip, so I am less worried about dropping it. Also, I removed on side piece after application, and I was able to re-apply it perfectly (something you cannot do with the regular spectra wrap decals).

Putting this baby on is actually much much easier than the Spectra wraps, thanks to the slightly thicker material. I'll let you know how to ages over the next few weeks.

I've gotten quite a few compliments already on my carbon fiber teksure backing (Lol, the Apple genius asked if I had ordered a custom kevlar back plate). The brushed metal side + carbon fiber back is a nice combo if you're looking for protection that is a little more distinctive but still subtle on the eyes.

1. it does not cover it
2. it could leave some residue, but nothing that could not be easily removed

im glad to hear that, thanks for the info. how much thicker is the material? is it the same as the rear teksure skins? is there still a risk of them stretching?

@Pez, the Teksure side decals are about the same thickness as the Teksure back.

I haven't tried scratching either the Teksure side decals or the back intentionally, but I would guess that they are as scratch-able or scratch-resistant as the Teksure Backs.

cool thanks, sorry i meant stretching, i assume 3M doesnt stretch as easy as the spectra wraps.

also does it leave residue on the antenna when removing?

Just want to thank the luckylabs for sending me some new wraps for free. My wrap is coming away at the bottom around the 30 pin connector port and I emailed them with a picture showing the problem. They replied in about half an hour and said they will ship me some new ones without any charge :)

@Pez, Yes, the Teksure side decals haven't stretched during my application.
Because they are thicker, they are much easier during application :)

Got my White Carbon Teksure back and sides delivered this morning, and I'm very impressed.

The instructions supplied were simple and informative, and took about 10 minutes to fit, allowing for cleaning the phone and taking my time.

Thanks Lucky Labs, a great product, keep up the good work!!:cool:

Just need to find a transparent case that will fit now, as my Belkin Micra Clear is too tight now, but not that bothered.

My ip4 LL-edition. :)

one of the sides of my teksure wrap (below the 30 pin with the screen facing up) around the 30 pin came disattached as well last night. took a exacto to this morning and its fine. I'm not overly concerned about it because i figure just about any time i apply the wrap it'll come up simply because i generally hold my phone in a way that my pinkie rests under the 30 pin

still love the wraps regardless and missing a 3/4" section from a barely noticeable portion of the phone dosn't distract from the aestic IMO
