Does the transparent Spectra Wrap really leave residue after removal, and does it easily attract dirt and dust. A few people on this thread made such a claim, although I would like someone to confirm that.

Thanks

I just removed my transparent one, and there's CRAZY amount of residue.... and the trick of using the removed wrap to remove the residue doesnt work, because all the glue is left on the phone and not the wrap! -.-''

i'll try the silver one after i clean this mess up, but if that one still leaves residue, then i really can't recommend spectra wrap anymore..
shame, cuz i really like this product!

Yea same happen to me. Someone said to use Mr.Clean magic eraser, it works good, or so they said. I havent try it yet since I just slap on a diff set.

did anyone get the brushed metal sides decal? wanted to see how that looks before i pull the trigger on that one.

Decided to give these a try. The install wasn't bad at all, though I ****ed up a bit on the SIM card side. The look is growing on me, I like it, but I wouldn't drop another $10 bucks on a few strips of vinyl again, maybe at half price.

i bought some carbon teksure wraps, and i have to say they are much better than the vinyl wraps. a lot more tougher and resilient than the vinyl wraps and they stick down superbly. will post some pics when i get the time!

thank you luckylabs!

i really wish they had a sticker that covered the entire home button...

would be pretty awesome

i agree, however im sure we will see stuff like this in the future. Its a growing company so im sure they have some more ideas.

Why does it matter if they charge for shipping or not? What's the difference from two sellers selling a uh I don't know, basketball both priced at $15 shipped. One seller prices buy it now at $15 but offers free shipping, while the other opts to price at $8 buy it now, and $7 shipping. Either way $15 will come out of the buyer's pocket. Now for the seller on the other hand, one will have more fee's to be raped by eBay than the other and come off a bit better. I'm just a bit dumbfounded by your comment, surely 3 strips of vinyl doesn't cost $10 to produce, so how do you make all of your money? Maybe we should watch out for that? ;)

i think that was exactly his point, less fees for the seller if they charge more for postage. Not sure what made you waffle on about anything else!

and FYI, i haven't as of yet paid full price for anything on theluckylabs yet, just got to know where the deals are ;).

Really? The question was as a BUYER what is the DIFFERENCE from buying from a seller who charges for shipping and one who doesn't when BOTH parties are charging the SAME price all together? Tell me the DIFFERENCE it makes in the BUYER'S POCKET. Otherwise, don't answer. The fee's the seller pay's should not be a contributing factor in this case. Theluckylabs guy basically insinuated that when you buy something from someone off eBay, you want to make sure they don't make any money, which is a ridiculous statement in itself.

but it was a question that didn't need to be asked, you are clearly getting a better deal from theluckylabs as they offer 3 spectra wraps. do any of the ebay sellers offer the same for the same price?

you make a better statement as a seller charging less for postage. I personally dont like seeing sellers on ebay charging excessive amounts for postage, yes there is no difference to me, but its clear the seller is only in it for paying less fees. some people don't like that whether you like it or not.

Were not talking about better deals, were talking about the one comment luckylabs made "watch out for the shipping cost, that's how they make their money", well how does the luckylabs guy make his money? Perhaps we should "watch out" for that as well? If you don't see the ridiculousness in his statement, then just stop quoting/responding to me now haha. All of the other **** you're blabbing about is irrelevant. I'm not talking about deals, I'm talking about the hypocrisy in his statement.

you caught me before my edit lol.

theres no need to get angered by this. I dont find it ridiculous at all, i know what service i am getting from them and i know that the products are great. No comment on a forum is going to change my mind.

LOL. Wait a minute, what exactly do you think the luckylabs guy is in it for? Here's a hint, it's not to make your iPhone look pretty for your friends, it's to MAKE MONEY. Why do people generally sell on eBay? TO MAKE MONEY. So again, if you don't see the hypocrisy in his post then okay...

well obviously, but then why isn't everybody on ebay charging £0.01 buy it now and then charging excessive amounts for postage?

because you make a better statement to your consumers by accurately representing a product with accurate pricing, including postage. That was my point.

In an effort to get this thread back on track and off the discussing of who pays what for shipping, here are some images of my wrap.

Took a tip from another posted and covered the wrap with the Scosche Band Edge case. All in all I'm pretty pleased with the result.

You kill me. If there are 2 buyers with 100% positive feedback and one has a BIN at $25 free shipping and the other has a BIN at $10 and $5 shipping for the same product, I'm going to buy from that second buyer, anyone with common sense and/or looking to make the most economical purchase would. But again, that's not the point. My posts have been about one comment, and one comment alone, yet you continue to babble off to other things. Again, luckylabs comment basically insinuated to watch out for sellers who could in any way, shape, or form make money (Whether they have the better price, or not) which is the exact thing luckylabs does and wants to continue to do. Pure hypocrisy in his statement but you'll never get it, your brain can not process such thoughts.

Sellers who charge $50 for the item and $5 for shipping needs to refund you $50 if something goes wrong. Sellers who charge $5 for the item and then $50 for the shipping refunds you $5 if something goes wrong. Maybe you haven't been buying online for too long? Once upon a time sellers get around the ebay/paypal refund policies by listing an item for cheap and then charging the "proper" price in the shipping, so they refund you almost nothing when you find the product unacceptable. So from a buyer's perspective, definitely watch out.
