Hinckley apparently (kind of surprising), they've just updated the delivery date again to tomorrow! Which isn't a surprise as Hinckley is about an hour from where i live anyway...
Fair enough. It’s not unusual for deliveries to come from East Mids airport. A lot of my previous Apple orders have come from Leicestershire, I think.....
Anyway I’m still sat at preparing....

there is no way im waiting for a shipment, and i can test the macbook there.
I would have liked to go to a store. If you can do that, go for it.

Our stores are open now but only for pickup and genius bar appointments. We can't actually look at anything in the store.
Ah yes of course i forgot about the airport. Anyway its due to arrive this afternoon...

Apple gave me $620 for my Early 2020 i5 8GB, 256GB MBA. I took a loss but it was worth it - excellent battery life, no fan, runs cool and definitely faster (in hindsight, my 2015 MBA was also better in all of those than the early 2020 MBA). I'm planning to keep this for a while so I spec'ed up the RAM and storage.
I traded in a 2015 Core m3 MacBook. They gave me $280, which honestly was worth it. Between that and the educational faculty discount, I got a 16GB/512GB/8-core GPU MBA for a hair over $1000.
