Looking at the iPhone 14 and M2 iPad Pro announcements, one could conclude we have a NEW form of upgrade cycles in motion here, not just the "supply chain excuse" we keep getting. New models come out, two years of iterations to snag "new" customers and/or a few upgraders with specific needs (ie - pencil hover) then every third year a NEW model. This also fits closely with the CEO's DNA - maximize return on existing parts (more M1 chips than A15) and/or inventory pile-ups (Pencil 1).
So I'll be like all the other leakers (guessers) and stake the high ground for 2023 with an iPhone 15 Pro Max with either periscope or liquid lens zoom of 6x AND an iPad Pro with M3, OLED, and a near MacOS-like operating system running subsets of MacOS software...think Final Cut/Logic-Lite, Office-Lite, Adobe CC-Lite, etc...
