Obviously, there's a lot of computing power, etc. with the iPad Pro 2, but really the only reason for wanting/needing a pro today is the option for a 12.9" screen. That's it.
Exactly, need other people to have no doubts besides the camera bump that I indeed have a Pro. 🤣” IPad Pro now printed in the back”. This is exactly what I wanted!! Pulling the trigger on this one 😂😂
ProRes was disabled on 128GB iPhone models. So it is possible on iPad models? This is f hilarious. 16GB on the most expensive models only? What. A. Ripoff.
ProRes video recording up to 4K at 30 fps (1080p at 30 fps for 128GB storage)
That 1 guy.. you know, in the video Apple made for this 🤣Who in the hell is recording video with their iPad?
What a snooze fest of an update.
But honestly, what can they add to the iPad Pro at this point since the limits are all due to iPad OS.
Oh ye of little imagination. What do you do on a damn tablet to require more power than an M1 or A12X/Z?
Face ID only for the Pros.
Why do you think you need to upgrade yearly? This is for people with older iPads.
Totally agree. With landscape camera at the very least. Their base model iPad gets a feature that I would argue is professional in use with all the video conferencing happing in 2022.Lazy Apple update. Should have waited until Spring 2023 to release this iPad.
Grandma.Who in the hell is recording video with their iPad?
The top end ships with 16 GB... the nearly top end (i.e., the 128, 256, and 512 GB models) should have 16 GB RAM too I agree. Or give the user the option to add an additional 8 GB of RAM for an extra $100 or something.Criminal in 2022 for the top-end model to ever ship with 8GB RAM.
iPads are excellent, but iPadOS is just making these expensive chips worth nothing, they don't need that much power unless we get MacOS or a better iPadOS on the processLet's dial it back for a second: what value would an M3 bring to the iPad?
What do you do on a damn tablet to require more power than an M1 or A12X/Z?
For my humble needs the M! is more then enough processing power, never mind the M2. Still, I love the direction that the iPads are heading. I think the only thing that is holding them back is the OS. If they continue to improve the OS, the sky is the limit
I'll be ordering a Brand New 11" iPad Pro.
My 2017 iPad 5th Gen is way long in the tooth !
