Built to order M3s normally take around 1.5 weeks from order to delivery here, that’s blown out to 7-8 weeks now - which happens just before the new models drop when they want to clear stock.

Just for fun, I asked Grok to estimate a specific release date based on all available M4 MacBook Air information and contrasting with the MacBook Air M2 and M3 releases.

Grok suggests announcement March 3 and on sale March 7.

Sounds like it could be today.

• Thunderbolt 4 - I'm thinking yes, because the M4 GPU got an upgrade to support two external monitors
• Center Stage Camera - I'm thinking yes
• Nano Texture Option - I highly doubt this
• New Colors? - Maybe one new colour

I think 3 T4 ports are all but confirmed aswell as the center stage camera

Nano Texture I think will come with the next redesign but I think Gurman did post yesterday that made me think there is a chance. Im not in the market for that though so it doesn’t interest me

I don’t think they’ll be any new colours or even an upgrading to the coating for fingerprints
