I am currently using a 2017 iMac and planning on asking my employer for a new computer in 2017. I am leaning toward a Mac Mini with either the M4 or M4 Pro. I want to give them a few choices on monitors to go with it. The Mini will be used for Graphic Design and Web Development. Mainly using programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for print work like screen printing, page layout etc.

I am currently lookin at these monitors:
  • Apple Studio Display
  • Dell UltraSharp 6K U3224KB
  • BenQ - PD2730S 27" IPS LED 5K
  • ViewSonic VP2788 5K 27"

Any feedback or suggestions on these 4 monitors or maybe something else to look at? Trying to find good looking monitors for graphic design and a few price ranges.

Thank you.

Can't go wrong with Studio Display.

There's certainly something to be said for a 32" 6k so that's the only other one I'd consider, if it's the company's money 😉
I hope to convince them on the Studio Display but I want to make sure I have some backups just in case that are a bit cheaper.

Nah... the way you do that is say
"I'd like a Mac Studio and a Studio Display XDR"

Or the Budget option, if you have to 😉

M4 Pro Mac mini and regular Studio Display
