OK, what happened to 10.2.7?

Also, I haven't seen yet if this addresses the SSH vulnerability found a couple of weeks ago. Anyone know for sure?

Hmm, the link displays:

The article you're looking for could not be found. Please either start over and ask another question, search Apple's Knowledge Archive, or visit the Discussion area.

The Knowledge Archive contains technical information for older Apple Products. Apple's Discussion Forum area allows you to search previous customer questions and answers, or post a new question which may be answered by other Apple customers, or Apple Representatives.

 I just used the link out of the software update window...!?!?

I concur - maybe they unreleased it.

So this would imply that 10.2.7 was a G5-only build? And that maybe 10.2.9 may bring back the code to a common build? Or will we have to wait for Panther for common code?

Strangely, some people are having trouble loading the knowledge base article. here are the list of enhancements

Bluetooth enhancements? Maybe the next iSync release is really not so far away then... :) Hope my Symbian-based Nokia syncs with iCal soon... :)

UPDATE: The knowledge base link works now for me, thx for the info arn.

Not available from the downloads page - what if you're behind a firewall? Software Update hasn't worked from inside our corporate firewall in like, forever.

Yeah really, I think 10.2.7 is the best Update since 10.2 from 10.1

No.

No no no no no .

I don't have a G5 and I am running 10.2.7

It is really stable IMO, and I haven't seen 10.2.8 as stable... :(

That is strange. I couldn't link to it from the above link. Although I got to the page by navigating through the apple site.

Now to sit back and read about what happens when one updates to 10.2.8.

No server version yet

No sign os a 10.2.8 server update in SUCP yet. I am not even sure of they are working on a 'server' variant of this update, but they always have in the past.

new keyboard and mouse icon, new for x.2 anyway.
Also, I can no long minimize in place, i have to minimize to the dock.

safari is at version 85.5 and installing it over the smoothstripes theme has not caused any problems so far.

it could just be my imagination, but it feels just the tiniest bit snappier on my imacG3.

EDIT: also, there's now a bluetooth tab in the keyboard/mouse prefpane, regardless of whether or not you have a bluetooth mouse.
