For everyone that was of the belief that hardware updates were waiting for 10.3.3 to be released....tomorrow morning will be your first chance. :)

Downloading and installing as we speak.

Great, now all I need is my Mac back from repair  Even so, if I did have it here, I'd hold off for a while. Good luck to those taking the plunge, be sure to report back! :D

Bingo!

I doubt there will be a G5 announcement before the 30th -- but you can't rule it out now. There certainly could be other announcements: displays, QuickTime, other software updates.

This is great news -- my credit card is ready to go.

Now, we need some rumors about these new G5s. For instance, will there be new memory requirements? what about optical drives? will be get a speed up in the burners?

Increased boot-up time

Has anyone installed 10.3.3 after performing the following under 10.3.2: sudo ln -s /System/Library/Extensions/BootCache.kext/Contents/Resources/BootCacheControl /usr/sbin/BootCacheControl

That was the way to speed up startup time after 10.3.2 caused it to slow down on some machines. I am wondering if there is any reason to remove the symbolic link (that is created by performing the above action) before installing 10.3.3.
