I'll give it a shot once the Combo updater shows up on Apple's website. It normally does within a few hours after the standard update shows up on software update.

Here Comes G5s???

Maybe this explains the delay on my G5... not!

Well good luck to all you gamma testers... I'm still on the 8/20 VIP list....

Curious that the actual update size is half that of the last seed.

Well i noticed when I installed it that it said Patching files during the install. I havent seen that before. If it patched the files instead of replacing them that would explain it.

so with it being 10.3.5 now and it also being a Tuesday tomorrow i wonder what will happen ?? o running sweet by the way

Safari 1.3???

So where's Safari 1.3? I thought it's going to be included with this update...

Yes, apparently the PNG graphics format had a buffer overflow error that allowed malicious code to be run on ANY system. This must be the fix! YAY

Things are working fine on the 1.25 G4 eMac.

Edit: Also seems faster to me...! Those graphics drivers at work, maybe?

That or the placebo effect :D .

10.3.6 comes out tomorrow! :D

I'll take the plunge and post to say whether I have any problems. (Closes eyes and crosses fingers)

I'm reassured to know that there are already a couple of successes (and no failures, at least before I pressed "reply"), but I definitely understand people being hesitant after iPhoto.

Well I just took the plunge in a big way, and remotely updated my powerbook through an SSH connection (airport extreme connection), then rebooted it.

It did come back on the network and I can log in, so that's a good sign!

Anyone try this over a network yet?

I was wondering if anyone could post after testing this update over a network. I'm hoping this repairs log in problems like advertised.

SECURITY UPDATE AVAILIBLE

I also have a Security Update Availible...
