First reboot from the update took awhile. I was scared the machine froze, but nope, everything is running fine. It feels snappier™.

Safari has been updated to 2.0.2 and thusly, certain plug-ins no longer work.

Downloading now. I'll post how it goes. The DL is really slow for me, so it may be an hour or so.

Since its a large file, I'm downloading from a campus computer lab computer (dorm rooms are capped at 3mbit/sec). I got the file at about 1.2 megabytes/sec :D I downloaded all 97 megabytes in about a minute! Now it's just taking forever to copy over to my Mac.

Teh Snappy!

Lol, ok so maybe i'm just imagining it, but some things really do seem to be "snappyer" specifically the finder and image loading, even safari seems a little faster, but i just got it installed so i'm withholding final judgment for now. Hope everything goes well for everyone!

Installed... Everything seems to be fine, except one odd thing...

Look (Pic): I just logged in and I have most of my RAM used up, usually, more than half is free right after a login... Strange...

WTF !! how fast ?? aww i pitty the fool on 1mb lol

Nooooooooooooo!

Why must Mac OS X always display the "blue fan" background during Fast User Switching! Everything else seems a bit more "steady", but still could be a bit more snappy. Seems slower if anything.

Feels fast. I also hadn't restarted in a few weeks. Nothing cosmetic, and 10.4.2 was fine, so no net effects yet. Time to wait for 10.5

Took a good 5minutes to restart but I'm back. All working well. Will go to a few sites that Safari has struggled with in the past and see what it's like.
