That's normal...Mitthrawnuruodo said:Funny... About This Mac reports that I'm running 10.4.5 even before I restarted, even before Software Update is finished...![]()

Messing around some, I think it has to do with the front row hack. If I try to go to keyboard preferences and click on keyboard shortcuts, it always crashes... Anyone know of an uninstall for the Front Row hack? Thanks

p0intblank said:Somewhat critical problem found! Ever since installing 10.4.5, control-clicking restarts my Finder. It happens in a Finder window and on the desktop. I have no way of control-clicking outside of applications. Is this happening for anyone else?
le sacre said:i spoke too soon. the problem is back today, much to my despair. i'm going back to my hypothesis that it's a hardware failure (one the powerbook is highly susceptible to?), despite the fact that the problem appeared shortly after i installed 10.4.4.![]()

jhartung said:Me too. I'm on a 12" powerbook, and yeah, all my startup problems started with 10.4.4. I've gotten every kind of startup issue, from not starting at all, to taking forever, to going lightning fast, to just now asking me to log in suddenly and then booting my desktop but the panel with the blue bar just sits there on top of it trying to finish. Do you think this is a hardware issue. It's so frustrating because the apple store people can't reproduce it consistently so they won't take it in.
Did that before and after the update. Another problem i've found is that when i drag files to Photoshop on my dock (while PS is already open), the files won't open. Lame.Mitthrawnuruodo said:
