Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Shipping

Mine is preparing shipment now too, and it is also 2-day! Wow. i wonder, if it will be "preparing shipment," for 2-3 days, or if it will really ship today or tomorrow? It would be nice to have it a day or two early. :)

Not real sure since my bank hasn't been charged yet.In my state a company can't charge your account until physical shipment occurs.

I'm hopin to get an email from Apple sometime today tho!! :)
 
Mine is also preparing shipment. Ordered on the announcement day. I also have 2 day shipping, which assuming the box comes from anywhere in CA shouldn't take too long to arrive in Los Angeles.

Dang I thought I'd break this news! No longer are the orders being 'processed' they are being prepared! Woo Hooo! :)

Mine still says "Processing," but then I ordered at 12:30 on the 12th (after a lot of people had probably put in orders). Hopefully it goes to "Preparing to ship" today. I want Tiger to be waiting for me at home when I get back there from college.
 
Mine still says "Processing Order." Guess that's what I get for ordering late ;)

But eh, still says it will ship by the 28th regardless. I have no doubt I'll have it Friday :)
 
wtf is up with my order? i ordered mine the day it was annouced and my order status still says open?! :(, o well it should get to me eventually, ive waited months for it, i guess waiting another few days won't hurt....*sigh*
 
Mine had said shipped and I went jumping around the house and shouting then later went back and the ****** said preparing.. I hate that I about cried.
 
Crap now I just feel cheated. I mean I ordered at 9:42 am EST I think less than an hour after it was announced and mine doesn't say preparing order. What a pile of dung. I guess more waiting for me. Just wondering which one of my orders will arrive first so I can return the other one.

Where are you guys shipping to (like what state)? Because I ordered on the 12th, and mine is still on the "Processing Order." I live in Texas though, and I think there's an Apple distribution center or something in the state (which might account for later shipment).

I ordered on the first possible day and mine says it is still processing as well. Austin area here.
 
I live in Santa Barbara, CA, and I ordered my copy on 4/12 at around 9am, and my order status is now at Preparing Shipment.
 
Preparing Shipment and...

My order (Education) now says Preparing Shipment. I live in Michigan, and Apple normally ships out of Pennsylvania. If it's like the ear phones I ordered lated Fri. afternoon, they went out Fri. nite. Apple is shipping 2nd day, so it should be here Wed. or Thurs!
 
Can't access Order Status

Trying to check order status on the Aussie Apple site and i get this:


"Thank you for shopping at the Apple Online Store

Apple's Online and phone Order Status services are temporarily unavailable due to a scheduled upgrade to our systems.

We apologize for any inconvenience."



??? ..coouuld that be an upgrade to my order status as well!?!

PS- i'm a little concerned about my order not shipping early at all, 'cause we had a public holiday here on Monday, and that's bound to set back things one day..
oh well!

Mine changed to "preparing shipment" also. I am in Salt Lake City Utah USA and my 2 copies are Educational.
 
I have a feeling it might say "preparing shipment," for a couple days, until they ship them. I doubt they'd ship them today via 2-day, for that would get to us too soon. :(
 
I purchased an EDU version from the Apple Online store on 4/12/05 @ 6:39am PST. The online store still lists my status as "Processing Order" but when I called Apple the agent said that it was infact "Preparing Shipment" but because of all the trafic their site is getting it is taking longer than usual for the order statuses to get updated. So for all of you that ordered it early and still have the "processing order" status you might try calling them, chances are that the status just has not updated yet.

P.S. she said that the delivery date was set for 4/28...one day prior to the offical release date.

WTF does this mean?

When I reload the status page it says that..

What gives? o_O
