Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard on October 26th at 6pm?

You going opening night? If so I'll try and see you there, not knowing anyone from the area (just going on vacation) I never thought I'd say I might meet up with someone at the launch.

It's not likely, sad enough.. I'm waiting to get my first mac about mid-November. I'm going to wait to see if they launch new MacBooks by mid-Nov, They might announce something by the 26th, who knows. I'm mainly going to wait until it comes pre-installed, not because i don't want to install it myself ( i can do it, w/e) but if they are likely to give the MB a small boost or refresh, its likely they might do it when Leopard comes pre-installed so it runs real smooth.

otherwise, yeah, i would've totally been down for the launch Millenia is the way to go though. Nice Apple store and staff.

Yeah I've been leaning towards Millenia even though both are about the same distance from Disney World where I'll be. My wife is with me, are there stores she'd like in there? She's into high fashion etc. And any idea how busy it'll be at that location night one?

I wasn't originally very excited for Leopard, but now I can't wait.

I just Apple has taken the time and done the product "Right" and is not riddled with quality issues Apple has been infamous for of late.

Yes, the release will occur at 6:00 PM within respective local time zones.

Cool, because i will be i London, which gives me a 5 hour head start over east coast.

previously Tiger and Jaguar were released at 9am in the states (west coast) and that meant i could queue up outside the apple store in london after work at 6pm
if it's 6pm in the states, then is it not most likely that it won't be out in the uk until the 27th?

It's 6PM your local time not around the globe 6pm Pacific. You get it first at 6PM Friday evening London time. Tiger was released the same way.

My boss wanted me to come in and work some over time on the 26th. I just told him that if 10.5 gets released that day he can expect to see me when I get there and not a second sooner and I will more then likely be busy upgrading my MBP anyway
