ordered my copy at 7:37 AM on the 12th, is still at "processing order"... doesn't make this guy too happy.
one of my friends like five minutes from me just jumped from "processing order" to "shipped" in about 5 minutes, and his order is on the famed truck out of middletown, PA...
i'm hoping my order is on the same truck, but who knows. its just unbelievable to me that people i know ordered it 4 days ago and theirs is due to arrive on friday, and i ordered mine like 3 minutes after the apple store was back online and mine is still on "processing order". thanks, apple.

...I'm currently at work....as i hate the pain of wating for a package to arrive, i dont order stuff any more..well not any more but when i know i can walk-in and pick it up that is the best thing , as it is i'm wating for my lunch-break so i can make the mad-dash to Saturn ( an electronix store that will have Tiger, this is in Hamburg Germany, my current location) .... then there is the plan to fly to London.........humm........do some shopping therapy ........... hummm................not a bad i dea........ just a Magic carpet ride away......

Well, mine still says "Preparing Shipment." Unless they just didn't update my order status, it looks like I won't be getting it today. Oh well.
Aaargghhh! It's so frustrating! I've tracked it as far as the depot which is a 15 minute walk away. I phone them up and they think its already gone out so what is taking it so long? I would've just gone and picked it up myself otherwise. Hurry up please!

Delivered by Express Post parcel today [to Canberra, Australia], despite receiving the shipping advice last night at 22:20. The package included an iWork '05 trial disc, which was unexpected.

I ordered mine on the 20th and live in Portland, Oregon. It was showing processing order for the longest time until just yesterday when I checked the status it showed shipped the 27th via 2day FedEx. Was originally showing ground delivery, guess it got automatically bumped to make sure I got it on time. FedEx shows it here in Portland and to deliver by 4.30PM Friday. The only reason I ordered it online is for the educational discount, otherwise I would have picked it up at an Apple store. My advice would be if your tracking still shows it's gonna be a couple days before you get it because of some kinda screw up, either just go to the store and pick up a copy and refuse the delivery when it finally comes, or call Apple up and give them hell. They had GUARANTEED that all orders placed by the 26th would be received by the 29th. Talk them into giving you something, or you'll cancel your order. Something like that. Try to do it nicely, don't chew the guy on the phone out, it's not his fault. But make your point, that you pre-ordered it so you could get it ASAP, but it ends up you'd be able to get it quicker by driving out to a store than waiting for the delivery to come. Maybe you'll get a copy of iWork or something outta it, who knows. Worth a shot. Heck, it might just be their system is slow in updating for a lot of these orders, and they really will show up on Friday. They'll for sure have all the up to date status info on their systems, so CALL THEM!! So what if they get deluged with calls, WE WANT OUR TIGER!!

My copy of Tiger has made an amazing journey so far.
After saying Apple was "processing" my order all day yesterday, I received an e-mail at 2:44 am (April 29) saying it had finally shipped.
Going to FedEx.com to track the shipment, I discovered that it left Tennessee on April 27 at 11:50 pm and is scheduled to arrive at 4:30 pm today (April 29).
So when Apple says 2-day shipping, they apparently mean the package is sent 2 days into the past to make sure it will arrive on time! Now that's what I call service.

I wish TNT had more detailed tracking, I'm continuously wanting to have a look outside to see if the van has pulled up as I'm getting paranoid I'll end up missing the knock at the door and will have to wait until Monday..!

the irony is that the depot is a five minute drive away. I'm gonna phone it up again soon because if its not on a van I'd be more than happy to go and pick it up myself.
