I ordered mine on the 20th and live in Portland, Oregon. It was showing processing order for the longest time until just yesterday when I checked the status it showed shipped the 27th via 2day FedEx. Was originally showing ground delivery, guess it got automatically bumped to make sure I got it on time. FedEx shows it here in Portland and to deliver by 4.30PM Friday. The only reason I ordered it online is for the educational discount, otherwise I would have picked it up at an Apple store. My advice would be if your tracking still shows it's gonna be a couple days before you get it because of some kinda screw up, either just go to the store and pick up a copy and refuse the delivery when it finally comes, or call Apple up and give them hell. They had GUARANTEED that all orders placed by the 26th would be received by the 29th. Talk them into giving you something, or you'll cancel your order. Something like that. Try to do it nicely, don't chew the guy on the phone out, it's not his fault. But make your point, that you pre-ordered it so you could get it ASAP, but it ends up you'd be able to get it quicker by driving out to a store than waiting for the delivery to come. Maybe you'll get a copy of iWork or something outta it, who knows. Worth a shot. Heck, it might just be their system is slow in updating for a lot of these orders, and they really will show up on Friday. They'll for sure have all the up to date status info on their systems, so CALL THEM!! So what if they get deluged with calls, WE WANT OUR TIGER!!
