Mac Pro 8800gt Are Shipping!

I definitely wouldn't re-order. If your ship date is within 10 - 11 days i'd just wait it out! My ship date is the 20th and has been since the day I ordered it.
I can just see it, you order another MP just to watch the expected delivery date to grow w/ Another Piss Poor Lame Excuse:(
 
The store has been updated to read 7-10 days for the 8800GT now vs 2-3 weeks previously. I ordered Feb 7th, let's hope mine ships this week.

I'm betting that your order ships before mine. That thought makes me very depressed :mad:
 
I registered at this site just to post this and give hope to all the early orderers.

Ordered mine on January 9.
Single, Quad 2.8 GHz
stock RAM, HDD
nVidia (obviously)
Airport
Bluetooth
Wireless keyboard

I checked JUST now, and it finally changed to "prepared for shipment". I hope it goes out on Sunday or Monday. :eek:

So it changed today? Maybe they are processing the overseas shipments over the weekend. I doubt any of us will see a 'Shipped' status until Monday since UPS and Fed Ex are closed till then. I need to just wait till Monday anyway, refreshing that Order Status page isn't doing me any good :)

I woke up in the middle of the night, last night, still clicking the refresh button.:eek: One good thing about this, I got out of major honey do list activities, today. Told my wife I was involved with intense computer operations...click, refresh, click, refresh!!!:)

I guess it lost half its load somewhere around Albuquerque. :eek:

weird just happened to me as well it just got to the NY sort facility and now it shows 56 lbs unlike yesterday that showed 65 either way it'll arrive at my doorsteo(in one piece hopefully) on monday

Whordes of Apple reps are calling FedEx demanding expedited shipping and lambasting them for discounts. Guess the reps got a 9lbs discount from FedEx on your shipments.

Joy.. been chugging along with my slowly-dying Dual 2.0 G5, waited ages for this new Mac Pro, ordered pretty early (January 16th), have RAM/a 30" Cinema Display, etc. cluttering up my desk... and yet I'm still greeted with:

All my cynicism has finally paid off!

Hopefully everyone else gets the same result on their refresh anxiety attacks...
