It says 7-10 days if you place an order on the website now. Awesome.

Your cards have been charged, they're just not posting yet... you'll see it on Monday or if you call your bank

Glad to see they updated it :D Of course, anyone who orders it today will probably get it first thing Monday, showing how the Apple queue has been spitting these out. :eek:

Just checked my credit card, and the charge is pending! :)
So, at least I know it's in the process of shipping. The Apple site doesn't say prepared for shipment and I haven't received an email yet, but this is a good sign. My credit card company will probably call me later today to confirm the charge, as usual, or maybe I'll give them a call and save them the trouble! My original order date, btw, was Jan 9th!! :D

(If you check your credit card account, look at your credit line minus your available credit and if the difference is the cost of your computer, you'll know the charge is pending. Naturally, it won't be officially on your bill until Monday probably.) Most of you probably know this already, but for those who don't.....

Not true. The moment you place your order with Apple, the cost of the purchase is reserved on your credit card limit. This pending charge gives you no indication that your computer is about to be shipped, let alone even built yet.

I probably should have said "in the process of getting ready to be shipped." The pending charge has always preceded a shipping notice in my past experiences with Apple and my previous equipment purchases. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that it's the same this time! ;)

Yeah, people are seriously confusing things by not thinking about what they are posting here. Half of the posts don't even say if it shipped or not. :confused:

For the record, mine has not shipped.

Ordered Jan 14th:
stock MacPro with 2.8Ghz,
only custom options I added are:
- NVidia 880GT,
- second (500 Gig) HD
- Airport Card

my order says Ships by Feb 20th, Delivers by March 3rd.

I live in Canada though and it's well known that Apple hates Canada and all Canadians. :rolleyes:
 
got up this morning and it shipped 2:22am last night! :D should be here on Monday.

Not shipping here either. :(

Estimated delivery date is Feb. 20th. Purchased through a third party retailer so it'll be an additional two or three days after the unit is delivered to the retailer. I am dying to replace my groaning G5 1.8/DP
