He previously noted it as his Companion 5 Acoustimass (i.e. subwoofer).

I don't want to get into minutia but that thing next to his Mac Pro is a little long; the sub woofer probably sits behind the MP. Also notice there is only one wire going into the outlet.

The thing next to my Mac Pro is the Bose Acoustimass. I placed all the wires behind the Mac Pro.

Lo and behold its hiding under the desk!

Desk Area, notice the mac pro under the desk? The keyboard slides from under the desk. And my mbp on the left! =D

Left side of the room (left side of the desk notice where the mbp is now on the right! And I'm in desperate need of new furniture for all the goodies *colors dont match!* I call it the *separate area* and yes all that's hooked up to the mac pro). Excuse the vaseline!

The home theatre chair I bought from comp usa from the store closing for $239.99!! (Awesome Chair).

Well here's the front view from the chair. The room is huge so I decided to put all my entertainment stuff (well my at least my favorite ones in the bedroom) with a nice lock on the door as well! =D

Here's a bit of a shaky shot of first person view of watching the movie "contact" in the dark (surprised me wth the camera flash).

Nice setup, but what happens if a friend wants to come over and watch a movie also?

They sit in your lap?

Watching pr0n with your gf on that with a 1 seater is glorious!!

I have another Poang chair that i can scoot in there with a foot rest (perfect for 2 people) when I have a friend come over (I let my friends sit on the chair I'm a good host!). That or we can use the 56" hdtv downstairs with the full couch and everything~ =/

I could put the setup in the living room upstairs but I dont want to keep my mac pro outside of the room + this room is best away from the neighbors (room is far end where my house is at the end of the street with no other house next to this room) and when my b&w speakers are at full blast!

What's with the grooves on your Macbook Pro? All the MBP's I've seen all have flat smooth edges, no seams. Including the area where the Apple is.

Thats a big stonking HDTV, Contact looks so amazing on that thing!

Love the top end on the Nautilus series. The 801s in the right room are breathtaking (I've not heard the 805s outside of a brief demo).

805s to me sounds pretty similar to the 801s if not even the 800d! Just the midrange is not as powerful and of course bass as well. But these little 805s speakers are amazing. Next is to buy stands for them but they cost $350 a piece from my local b&w store..

Mine is on my window ledge.

This is by far the best computer I've ever owned. I've built computers since '96 and got my A+ cert in 1999. It literally took me less than 8 mins to install addition 10GB of RAM and installed 4 HD's without breaking a single sweat. I'm very impressed with how clean the insides were and how easy it was to install all the hardware. Equally impressed with the small details ie. rubber stoppers for the screws on the HD drive bays to eliminate vibration noise and also the rubber around the inside of the removable panel. This thing is so solid. Try tapping a PC workstation like a Dell or HP...clank! Also, I love how quiet this machine after installing the F1s.

When I get my Mac Pro, it will be in the bedroom or living room, depending, serving as my main (well only in my case) entertainment center and ripped video server. Razor Mako 2.1 Speakers, Viewsonic VP2650wb 26" Widescreen Display, 4 Western Digital WD6400AAKS 2-platter 640GB Hard Drives round out the deal. Sure it will be my hobby-someday pro-workstation too, but my digital lifestyle precludes a separate TV and Stereo nowadays. Guess I will have to buy a nice desk too huh? I heard premium chairs are good for the back...
