Got mine from the ebay seller today, only took 2 days to get here... I don't see any problems with mine, I love how it doesn't cover any of the front of the iPad at all. Can wipe off all the fingerprints and dust completely, unlike the Apple case. Here's a couple pics:

In the second picture you can see the edge looking straight down on it, the front cover goes pretty much right to the silver edging.

Here's an album with more pics I just took: http://imgur.com/a/994S2/macally_ipad_bookcase/all

Very nice! So you can actually stand it up in portrait mode as well, nice! Can't wait to get mine.

How easy/quick is it to remove and insert the iPad? I will probably still use mine naked around the house unless watching a movie where I need to stand it up and will use the case when taking it out. I love the feel of the iPad without any case.

It's pretty easy to get out, just hold it landscape style and put your index fingers under the 2 sides near the upper corners, and push on the grey plastic corner pieces with your thumb and the iPad will click up and out on that side, then just pull it out of the other 2 corners.

Onsale- When I ordered this morning they showed four in stock and now when I called them to check on my order the rep. says that they they are out of stock and will not get more until May 12 (maybe). They still have not notified me about the delay. Forget Onsale if you want it before your 3G arrives.

this case looks great but I really need something that I can make work with the keyboard dock....so far it's down to either the Apple case (cut out the back area around the dock connector) or the Incipio feather case (no tilt). Ughh, it's probably going to be the Apple case then. Dock compatibility is an important feature for me.

Just got mine today. I love it. The Incase convertible case went right back to Apple. That thing is a beast of a case compared to the nice slim form of the
Macally.

Also, as to the questions that were asked about what kind of material the back is made of...it is plastic. No cardboard at all. It is actually a plastic sheet on the back that is configured to fit the curved back of the ipad perfectly. This is then covered in the suede like material that the rest of the case is made of. Besically the suede is just glued onto the plastic back. It should hold up really well and not loose shape.

When I ordered from OnSale the message said in stock but I just checked my order status and it says Backordered. grrr

Cancelled my order with OnSale and bought one from Provantage. Real time staus says "Shipment Status: Completed". Hoping for the best

Just a note on this - I ordered from Provantage on Monday and it still showed as backorder. Called them and switched to another supplier that has it in stock.

Weird. I had a great first experience with Provantage. Ordered it on Saturday. It was processed Monday. Shipped from a warehouse on Tuesday via FedEx. And since the warehouse happened to be in my city, I got it today!

As for the case - I love it. Great feel. Well made. My cover fits right and goes all the way to the edges. The front cover is not real hard like I was expecting. But it's firm enough. It's a keeper.

IMO it's the best case going. I've been using it for two days now. Love it. Gratz to all who took the plunge.

I'm annoyed. I bought a kensington neoprene case. Now I want the Macally Bookstand.

What do you do with the old neoprene case?

I was wrong, onsale had the cases in stock. It's the Griffin 2amp car/home charger set that is backordered. I got the case today in just 2 days. $29+$5.
It's nice. thanks for the members here I found a great case for my soon to come ippy.

How did you get $5 shipping?

Just called. Onsale.com is backordered and not expecting them in until MAY 19.

Just a correction to what I said above as it might be confusing - I still kept my order with Provantage, but _they_ changed the supplier to someone who has it in stock. Its unfortunate that didn't happen automatically, but the moral is if you have an order with them that's backordered, give 'em a call.

All of you getting the case so quickly is making me regret ordering from Antonline via Amazon.

How did you get $5 shipping?

I bought the Bookstand and the Griffin charger set, total shipping was $8-9.
but when only the Bookstand shipped, the invoice shows $29.99 + 5.87 shipping. I guess the other $3-4 for shipping I paid applies to the Griffin when it ships.
I also thought they told me on the phone that the Bookstand would be avail in mid May and then the item showed up today. Maybe they were talking about the Griffin chargers. I read Apple got all the first allotment of those, but onsale sells it for a lot less, so I can wait.
